Looks a lot nicer from the outside. Inside needs a remodel, out of date and smells. Went in on a Friday night, wasn't very busy but took forever to get served. Asked one waitress that was bringing food out to a table if we could order drinks and get a menu and were told "I'm off, I'm not working right now". Another waitress did come later and we ordered drinks and chips and salsa, which was basically Tostitos and Picante sauce out of a jar. She never came back and checked on us and we had to ask several times to get our bill and finally ended up going to the bar to pay.
Review Source:Good number of beers on tap (including micros and domestics), also a decent selection of liquor for those that prefer distilled beverages. Â The food is standard American pub fare and the service is consistently good. Â A great place for a post-work excursion with the gang or to catch a ball game. Â A couple of pool tables, dart boards, and video games make for a fun place to tilt a couple.
Review Source:So do you remember when it snowed a ton this last December? When no place was open and many streets were not plowed? When you opened your fridge and you had only a can of ginger ale, can of corned beef hash and some cat food (which is similar to corned beef hash)? Well guess who was open?! That's right the Office Tavern.
It was Sunday morning and my girlfriend and I were watching football in serious need of food more importantly a cheeseburger. So we called The Office and they were open and serving food.
So my girlfriend and I crawled into our north face jackets, strapped up our boots and walked the 1.1 miles up hill both ways in 2 feet of snow. When we arrived we found a few other people had the same bright idea. The service was awesome. The burgers and drinks par for the course. The experience was priceless.
This is a great place to catch a football game and since that day I have been back a few times and each time have enjoyed my experience. They have 6 flat screens and a projector so no matter where you are in the bar you can catch the game. The Office unfortunately does not have a happy hour on drinks but they do have weekly food specials.
Monday $4.99 Burger and Fries, Tuesday 99 cent tacos, Wednesday $6.99 Halibut and chips, Thursday 1/4 Polish Dog $1.99, Friday Pint's for $2 and $5 pitchers of PBR and Saturday is an 8oz Bacon wrapped tenderloin for $7.99 served with fries and a salad.
Not my favorite bar in town but definitely my favorite bar in a snowstorm.
