Spent the holidays in Wilmington and stayed across the street from Cotton Exchange. Paddy's was my favorite place to stop after a few hours of downtown shopping. Only went to the bar area and bartenders Allison and Chelsea are tops. They have an awesome selection of beer on draft and their wings and French onion soups are tops. Will definitely make it our first stop next year.

Nothing really special about Paddy's Hollow when it comes to food. Typical bar food with a few extras. Good location in downtown Wilmington at the Cotton Exchange with a cool outdoor seating area. I had the corn beef sandwich. Decent flavor, but again, not overly impressed. Honestly, I thought, due to the name, that I was walking into an Irish restaurant but sadly there was no real Irish food on the menu. For the money, I'll find another place to eat next time.

The owner of this place needs to start paying attention or he/she's going to lose Paddy's. The interior is beautifully done as an upscale Irish Pub with a great area for outside seating. It ends there. The waitresses and the female bartender stand around the the bar chatting, paying more attention to each other than the few customers. Their "signature" dish, Shepherd's Pie, is seldom available. It's a really good dish. The bartender loftily told us they have been out of it for a couple of days, they really need to make more. Then again when I tried to order a Mandarin Salad I was told it was "really really good" but...they were out of the dressing for that salad...but I could use Ranch instead! Tried the place twice, will come back but only as a stop off for drinks.

We wandered upon this place when we stayed at the hotel across the street. I liked the outdoor seating, it was funky and part of the Cotton Exchange. The service was good, we were eating during the off lunch hours. The buffalo wings and housemade bleu cheese were very good. My daughter loved her mac and cheese and fries. My husband and I shared the corned beef, it was good but it was very lacking on the corned beef. It was good and I would try it again.

I usually do not hate restaurants, but I will make and exception for this place.  The service was horrible, it was extremely slow, and  we asked our waiter several times just to get a glass of water. The menu was a typical wanna-be Irish pub, majority of the items on the menu were lack luster, and not very original.  My hubby ordered the clam chowder, when he received it, you could tell it had been sitting in the window for some time.   The same thing occurred with our entrees. i ordered the salmon, it was overcooked and had little no spices.

Was thirsty so just stopped in to grab a beer. Tried the Carolina Pale Ale and it was pretty good. Didn't have the food but like a typical Irish pub, it had a nice atmosphere and I have faith the menu was prob good. Friendly staff

They have pretty good food, (the spicy turkey burger is my favorite). But the service is always so slow. They also have not always been very polite when calling in orders.

Paddy's Hallow is decent. It tends to get lost in the crowd with me; the food is priced in the same range as a half a dozen other, better restaurants in downtown Wilmington. The portion sizes are large, but there isn't much unique about the food.

I usually sit at the bar, since the bartender is good and the waitstaff is slow. The interior is impressive, like a classy Irish pub, but something is lacking. Maybe it's because it is located inside the cotton exchange, but the place always feels touristy to me, like an airport lounge.

I had heard good things about this restaurant so I decided to try it with my son for lunch. They were not very busy and surprisingly service was very slow. I was very disappointed in the meal. My corned beef on rye sandwich had hardly any meat. My sons pasta dish was okay. I hate to say it but I do not think I will return unless someone drags me there...
