I have to agree with Vivacious D's review - this is a very clean, fast restaurant. The only time you ever have to wait is if they're out of food and they're making another batch, which rarely takes more than a few minutes. My only complaint is that they seem to be cutting way back on the amount of meat they give... anything with beef usually seems to have far more of the other ingredient (such as broccoli), so it feels sort of like a rip-off. To be fair, it isn't just this location... it is likely a directive from the district offices.
In short, it is not a bad option by any means, and the quality is good, but if you're really feeling like Broccoli Beef, you could get nearly twice the amount of food at a place called Tasty House at Wisconsin & Roosevelt for about the same price, and they also have amazing food. For me, until they stop skimping on the "protein," as Flat Top calls it, I will likely continue going elsewhere.
My friend Oscar and I were starving and didnt want to indulge in the greasy, cheesy gift called pizza. So we drove all over Riverside and Cicero trying to figure out where we wanted to eat. Then we passed by this Panda Express and decided on that. Yummm!!!!
This location is pretty big. Just opened up this past spring. Â We got in line and I realized they were out of a lot of stuff. I wanted fried rice, chow mein and vegetables. They didnt have veggies and very little chow mein. Â They served me my rice and chow mein and asked me to wait for my vegetables. We sat down and ate and waited for my veggies while Oscar waited for his chicken potstickers. I realized my chow mein was cold and tough. It was old. I bet it had been sitting there forever!!!! Ugh!!! I was hungry and still ate it since I noticed they werent taking more out. Â 15 minutes later out come my veggies and 5 more minutes later come the potstickers. Lol.
We refilled our drinks and left. I wasn't impressed with this Panda. Not impressed at all.
