This is more of a review of Five Guys in general rather than this specific location. The only really location specific-negatives there were was the absence of trays and the typical "I-don't-care" type attitude that I'm becoming all to accustomed to at these fast casual type places.
Five Guys the franchise, however ... I don't understand it. Like Beatriz R. said, "I wasn't really WOW'd... I was expecting a little more out of it." This is the third Five Guys I've been too, expecting the next  burger to be better than the last, to absolutely blow me away. Yet nay, this hasn't been the case. I mean they're good burgers, and if this was a "fast food" joint, I'd say they're the best of the bunch.
But at those prices -- $13 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink -- and for the quality of burger I get (a shade better than Wendy's), it's kind of like I'm bending over and telling Five Guys, "Have your way with me!"
(CUE "Glory, Glory Hallelujah" background music)
BUT NO! I WILL NO LONGER BE OBJECTIFIED! I AM A PERSON, FIVE GUYS! A PERSON WHO HAS A LIMITED BUDGET AND EXPECTS MY MEAT TO BE WORTH THE COST (that's what she said?)! IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK?!
(CUE LARGE CROWD, LISTENING ATTENTIVELY, YELLING "NO!")
Whew ... that took a lot out of me! I could go for a burger and fries right about now...
Not sure what the low ratings of this place are for but I like 5 Guys. Â I've been here numerous times and have enjoyed their great juicy burgers. Â In this area, there's nothing that compares. Â Anyone complaining about the prices should stroll across the street to McNasty and cop a few burgers with a side of pink slime. Â The burgers here are fine dining quality. Â The only gripe I have is the long wait time but I guess it's worth waiting for a tasty product.
