This is your better Panera. I will bypass Woodfield, Schaumburg and Hoff Estates to go to this location.
They are better with food prep. Better service and very clean. They also have the drive through. Bakery goods here seem fresher than the other locations.
Turkey Artichoke is my fave and the fresh fruit tarts are back for summer.
It gets packed here but, they do a good job.
I ordered the usual. My favorite Napa Almond.
My sandwich came with chicken about the size of... well, I can't think of a size because it was so small... not too small like a quarter but not small like a meatball either- in between. I wasn't too pleased. I felt like I ate more breads than my chicken meat at this place. Not worth $6.99
this is definitely one of my favorite panera locations!!
the food is honestly the same as all the other paneras in the world, but this one stands out in service & the awesome DRIVE THRU !! & the drive thru is pretty speedy so that definitely makes me frequent this panera so much more than any other one in the burbs :) & i love their cream of chicken and wild rice soup haha. thanks for making my life easier, panera :)
p.s. cream of chicken and wild rice soup is available sundays, tuesdays, and thursdays! -- this is when you'll find me here lol
Definitely one of the best Paneras I have ever been to. Â It is only improved by the fact that they just added a drive-thru!
In fact, I just used said drive-thru for the first time last night. Â It was fast, efficient, and I didn't have to drag the kids out of the car on a cold, rainy, October night. Â I was really excited about being able to stay in the warmth of my car (now if only I could get them to deliver!!)
They rarely get my order wrong at this location, but if they do, they make every effort to make it right. Â There is always ample seating, and I love the "cozy" feel of Panera.
Their breakfast is really good (some items like the bagels and pastries are available all day). Â And their lunch is really great, too. Â The only think I don't like is that they changed their chicken noodle soup. Â The fat noodles were my favorite, but now the soup as a whole isn't as delicious. Â But that isn't THIS location's fault, just Panera as a whole!
Love this location, and I know I will be back early and often!
If you want the Chicken and Wild Rice Soup you will have to wait certain days. Â The Chicken & Wild Rice is 5 stars. Â They didn't have it today (Friday) so I asked my husband to pick up the Chicken Cobb Salad. Â Don't bother, mostly lettuce, hardly any chicken, cheese or bacon and no croutons. Â Carry out was very disappointing. Â Go to Wild Fire and get their Cobb Salad if Cobb Salad is what you want.
Review Source:I have NEVER had a good experience at this Panera. Â My order is wrong every time I visit. Â Sometimes a completely wrong sandwich, most times they cannot handle a special request such as no onions. Â I complain and the Manager gives me free coupons. Â It has gotten so bad that I refuse the coupons because I don't want to go there ever again. Â They are also often out of certain items (bread bowls or a specific type of bread). Â I MUCH prefer the Panera on Schaumburg Rd (east of Barrington); they always get my order correct.
Review Source:Friendly service, good food (as usual), and usually plenty of space when I've dined in.
This is one of those default places I will go to when I just need a relatively healthy lunch and a free wifi connection for my iPod Touch. I like the fact that I can get an apple as my side item when ordering a sandwich.
And, of course, they have the "Add a dessert pastry for 99 cents more." I thought the cashier was just being nice to me the first time she told me that. Or maybe it was an end-of-the-day sales discount to get rid of unsold desserts. Then I realized they offer that discount all the time. ha ha!
Panera has an extensive menu and so far, everything has been pretty good. Â I like their cafe sandwiches and their soup is quite good. Â I'm a big fan of the signature salads, expecially the Thai Chopped Chicke Salad and the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. (love the apple-flavored salad dressing)
There's a nice, comfortable atmosphere here and the service is always good.
Once again, I am very impressed with this Panera Bread Location and their friendly staff. Â I received an email from Panera stating I received a "Special Surprise" Â on my Panera Card for my Birthday. Â So this morning before work, I presented MyPanera card and I was surprised to receive a free pastry. Â I told Nancy, the person behind the register, Â that I would like to have 2 Shortbread pastries (my favorites). Â As I reached for my wallet to pay for one of the pastries, Nancy told me the second pastry was on her.... I was really surprised by her kind gesture. Â
This really made my morning. Â A simple kind gesture made all the difference for one person....me. Â I tell you, ever since Panera started the "My Panera" card programs, I have been receiving free pastries and drinks as a reward for being a loyal customer. Â I think this is great marketing on their part to get people coming back to Panera.
So, uh, I kinda live here.
Ok, to clarify I have a job that allows me to work wherever I want. Anywhere I can get online (read: anywhere) I can work so to avoid becoming a shut-in and talking to the walls I try and get out of the house as much as possible during the fall and winter. And it just so happens that this Panera is ideally located near by house as well as close to other distractions like Target. So a few days out of the week you'll find me here for a good chunk of hours, happily working away and bobbing my head to my tunes.
Compared to other Paneras, this one is fantastic. It's big and there are plenty of tables and booths to sidle up to and sit for a spell. Every few spots there is an outlet so I'm never without power and there's so much room that I've rarely run into a case of not being able to find a seat. The free wifi is rarely slow or broken and the layout is such that I can get up to grab some more soda or order food without being out of line of sight with my laptop for any appreciable amount of time.
Great staff, great location, great food. Hands down, great Panera.
Yes, I love Panera. Yes, I am one of THOSE people that wakes up super early to sit in Panera with my laptop. Â Yes, you will find me here more than once a day, except on weekend afternoons way too, crowded! I can't be admired for being the cool loner chick with the pink lap top and latte, when there are kids screaming, because they dropped their tippie cup.....I kid, I kid!
Review Source:Panera Bread, what more can I say? Â
This isn't your typical sandwich shop. Â It's a bakery too!
This particular location has been here as long as I have been living in the area. Â It's not only a great place to stop for breakfast, it is also a great place for lunch as well.
Their bagels are flavorful and diverse. Â I love their asiago cheese bagels. Â Their spreads are also very unique though I've only tried the plain cream cheese spread. I'm kinda a purist in that regard. :) But, their other baked goods such as their Chocolate Chipper or Oatmeal Raisin cookies are also awesome!
I've tried their salads, while good, isn't their big selling point. Â Neither is their coffee beverages. Â It's mostly their sandiwiches and soups that really make them stand out. Â I enjoy their hot panini sandwich, Chicken Bacon Dijon or their Bacon Turkey Bravo as far as cold sandwiches. Â Couple it with their broccoli cheddar soup...and you have a hearty lunch that will take you into dinnertime.
This location is rather busy during lunchtime as well as breakfast. Â Their service is pretty quick and you get your food fairly quick despite the breakfast/lunch rushes. Their tables are always cleaned up immediately and their lounge areas are comfy and inviting. They have Wi-Fi so, if you are relaxing and still need to do some work on your laptop. This is a nice place to do it.
Oh, and their mini pineapple upside cake is sinfully delicious!
