A group of 4 of us went for brunch at around noon. They said it would be a 25 minute wait but only ended up being like 10 minutes.

The service was very good and all the servers were very friendly. The breakfast burrito was delicious and huge. Very reasonably priced at $8. A nap was definitely warranted after finishing it off.

Great food, friendly service, and late hours are what makeup this paseo cafe. The prices are on the higher side of things (8-15 bucks for most items), but the food is pretty tasty. Not to mention, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.

Also, their brunch is amazing. Where else can you order a giant bottle of champagne, bigger than your thigh, to make mimosas at the table and start your Sunday off right?!

There aren't many late night eateries in Oklahoma City.  This one is a good one.  I got stuffed dates, a pizza, and an appetizers of dips.  It was late, so the menu was limited.  Everything was great.  I think we got a new waitress, because we had a few problems, but no biggie.  I understand.
And, I don't understand the stinginess with the flatbread.  It costs nothing to make and I just ordered a ton of food and drinks for 2.

My pet peeve, when you ask for a little more bread because they give you enough for a squirrel to eat and charge you for it.  The other is when a southeast Asian place charges for rice.

I've been to brunch and dinner and have not had anything I didn't like. The menu is so great for a picky eater like me! All kinds of choices! Highly recommend the hummus appetizer.. can't disappoint! Also great bar menu!

We loved our dinner at Picasso's! We were there with a group of about 50 people and they handled it well. (Yes, we'd made prior arrangements!) I had the blackened shrimp with risotto and the heat of the seasoning on the shrimp was balanced by the sweetness of the risotto. Their house depressing on the side salad was light and tasty. Great place! It's small and the area is wonderful, with all sorts of galleries  and a Spanish look to the buildings. (It's in the Paseo.)

Picasso does a great little event on the third Tuesday of every month in which they offer up a pre fixe vegetarian 5 course meal. There's also the option to try a suggested wine pairing with each course, which turns out to be a great deal as well. We finally made it out to try Pablo's latest vegetarian meal last month, and I am sure glad we did.

First course: Baked Kale with Ancho Chili Yogurt
I love the flavor of roasted kale, I just hate doing it myself - such a tedious task with only one oven. But, if Picasso is willing to do all the work for me and offer it up with a delicious yogurt dipping sauce - count me in!

Second course: Watermelon and Dragon Fruit Gazpacho
I don't tend to be a huge fan of chilled soups, they just never sound appealing to me, but this particular gazpacho hit the spot. It was cool and refreshing and the slight sweetness was just enough, not at all overpowering.

Third course: Israeli Couscous Stuffed Tomatoes, Roasted Chive Creme Fraiche
This dish was fantastic. I love Israeli pearl cous cous and had never considering stuffing a tomato. The flavor of the roasted chive creme fraiche was amazing.

Fourth course: Porticini Ravioli, Lemon-Basil Veloute, Garlic Rosemary Toast
These ravioli just melted in your mouth - and apparently disappeared off your plate as well, before I knew it, they were gone. The subtle hint of lemon-basil in the sauce paired well with the rich creaminess of the porcinis.

Fifth course: Coconut Creme Tartlette with Fresh Kiwi and Candied Starfruit
Ok this thing was ridiculous. I hate to go with a dessert as my favorite course, but this was just too damn good - I just wish I had gotten seconds (or thirds). If I had to guess the overall inspiration / theme of the night's menu, I'd probably go with light and refreshing, and this was the perfect way to wrap it all up. Again, not overly sweet, just enough of that great coconut flavor in the flaky mini pie crust to leave you wanting more.

We were very impressed with the entire menu and it's a great little event that we plan on attending many more times to come. Between the vegetarian events, the regular menu / weekend brunch options and the live music schedule - it would appear that Picasso Cafe is actually much more than just a great place to grab a drink.

    Overall Grade: A-

Fresh delicious food every time. Friendly staff and their lobster bisque is out of the world.

College age crowd with a bit of a hipster vibe. The food took a little while but tasted wonderful! I ate the soup of the day with a house salad. I wanted the quinoa tacos but they were out. I'll have to try them another time. There were good vegetarian options on the menu so I have many choices to return for.

OVERRATED. Extremely mediocre food for how much you're paying. They don't serve brunch on Saturdays. It's cool meeting people for drinks but besides that don't even waste your time. Wait staff ranges from very nice and helpful to pretentious and not interested.

I absolutely LOVE this place!  From the prosciutto wrapped figs to the trio for appetizers to the wonder lobster bisque soup to the pizza to the club sandwich, I pretty much love it all, except the blackened shrimp, it tasted burnt once when I got it.

If you want to feel a little funky, try the hippy juice, if you love live music, they've got it!  Perfect for a cute little date or to catch up with some girlfriends.

I forget what night it is, but they have their pizzas on special for $5, I recommend the spinach pizza.

I also love their brunch, the omelet bar was a fav amongst some guests I had in from out of town.

It's kind of becoming my version of Cheers except the food is awesome and everyone that works there is so cool it's like they are all a bunch of Sam Malones.

The food has always been good but it seems only recently (with in the last few months) its been really especiallly great. It had been the kind of place where I always found a couple things on the menu I really liked but lately everything I try is a revelation, I mean how many restaurants serve a great brunch, lunch, dinner, that really all have their own stand out dishes.

Eat this: lobster bisque, fish n chips, breakfast burrito, pretzels, Margherita pizza, risotto croquettes REALLY EAT WHATEVER sounds good to you.

They also have a very decent beer selection, I had a Harp there last night for $2 (if your just thinking of the a musical instrument, you don't drink beer and should pay no mind to this section) I also had a tasty Milk Stout and on a seperate ocassion have had the local Black Mesa beer on draft, all good stuff. They also have a satifying whiskey selection.

If you thought I was talking about Harp as in a musical instrument earlier, I would like to tell you that there cocktail seletion is quite popular. There are plenty of "what I'd call fun drinks to order if that's what you're into, I'm waiting for spring to really kick in right now and then I'll order a Pimm's Cup or a Mojito (with fresh mint!)

Okay this is about to get serious (which means it isin't) if for some reason right now I was put on house arrest and could only leave the house to visit one restaurant (because they let you do that when your on house arrest right?) I would choose Picasso's I could live there if I needed to, (if they would let me) they have some couches in the back so I could figure something out. (although I'm not really suggesting you sleep there)

Great service, though overly cheesy when talking about what she recommends or what something is exactly, aka "It's a ball of deliciousness!"

The food was only mediocre for the price. I couldn't believe we had just shelled out $50+ on this one meal. One appetizer - Ricotto Croquettes, Sangria (the best thing they had, and still sub par), a Margherita Pizza which I didn't even really touch until we had to go get her to ask for some marinara (which she charged us for - Really? Can't you see I'm not loving your food!), and Fish and Chips (not bad, but still not worth the price).

There are much better posh restaurants with the the food to match - probably wont return.

One of my fav places in my neighborhood, close to Paseo. Great sidewalk/patio on pretty days, great ambiance inside on cooler days. The Lobster Bisque and the seared tuna appetizer are probably my favorite things on the menu, but the pizzas, salads and daily specials are exceptional as well. Follow them on twitter  to find out what they are. Their prices are reasonable (especially during happy hour on the pizzas) and if I've ever had a problem, the staff has promptly taken care of, usually going above and beyond. Oh, and they have a beautiful big old bar with a big screen behind it, showing the Thunder games when they are playing. Can't go wrong with that. :)

I like this restaurant for its convenient location in the Paseo district and it's a laid back place to hang out. The food I tried were decent but I wasn't overly impressed with the menu selection. I got the lobster Po'boy sandwich with a side of green beans and enjoyed my meal. I tried some french fries from someone else's plate and thought they were awesome! I should've gotten them as my side instead of going the healthy route by choosing green beans!

The staff provided some of the best service I'd ever seen! They were attentive, kept refills coming, and anything else we needed.

I had a hard time choosing a cocktail from their alchohol menu since they had so many great ones to choose from! I ended up with a vodka laced cherry limeade and loved every drop of it!

On First Friday when the art walk is going on, wait time can be an hour or longer so I'd suggest putting down your name, walk around to the galleries, then come back to Picasso's for some drinks and appetizers.

    Disclosure:
    This was a CMYE, but...

It would have been the same with any other large group, though, I'd imagine. Nothing felt overly 'special', which is a good thing.

There were free drink tickets until 8pm, I think, but I didn't even know about them until after I ordered. I was fully prepared for buying my own cocktails, and I'd have had no problem doing so even if I hadn't discovered the little drink tickets.

The wait staff was very, very attentive. Not because we were Yelpers, but because they're great at what they do. There were plenty of other people there that received the same amount of attention, I noticed. So go, you guys! The atmosphere was also amazing. Everyone there, a part of the 'party' or not looked to be having a good time and the building was full of laughter. It was thoroughly enjoyable to just be there.

The food. OH MAN. I ordered the quiche. It differs week to week, I think, and I can't remember what mine had in it but it was delicious. It came with a 'small' salad that was actually pretty big! That filling meal cost a total of $8. So worth it. My boyfriend got the club sandwich and devoured it, and let me taste his fries which are DELICIOUS.

The cocktails we ordered were all fantastic:
    Sangria
    Mojito
    The Hippy
    Sailor (something or other)

I definitely want to come back when I find myself around Paseo.

We ordered Petrone the bartender said and I quote "we don't have it because the owners don't want it no  matter what the customer Requests" Then we sat for a good 20 minutes so they could have a staff meeting after the meeting we set for another 10 minutes trying to get our waitresses attention to order another round we finally gave up and left.

I've been to Picasso's a couple of times for brunch and I have yet to be let down! Everything I have tried on their brunch menu is packed with mouthwatering flavor. The sunrise sandwich was incredible along with the breakfast potatoes that come on the side. The Eggs Benedict has a great hollandaise sauce. The waitstaff has always been helpful and friendly. Picasso's is a great example of the wonderful local restaurants OKC has to offer! Now I just need to go back again sometime for dinner!

Gave my used-to-be favs a try again after months of absence. No improvement. The hummus still tastes more like mashed egg. Prunes are not figs. I can't believe how many people think this is so great - yes, I love the patio too, but damn, wish there were better food to have with my drink...

Love the vibe in Picasso's. I come here for brunch because they have the absolute BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. It's also fun to come here at night for a drink or to step on over to The Other Room attached on the left.

Fool me once - shame on you.  Fool me twice - shame on me.

Used to come here religiously when it was Galileo's (oh how I miss their chicken far farfalle / 86 the chicken and replace with portobello mushrooms...) - When it reopened as Picasso's, was super excited, b/c it's in Paseo - surely you have to be vegetarian-friendly, right?  The first time I dined at Picasso's, their vegetarian selection was almost non-existent - Couldn't believe it.  What I was able to order was most definitely NOT tasty.  Fast forward a year (or 2?), after reading all the recent Yelp reviews, decided to give them another shot.  Oh dear...  This time I was pleasantly surprised to see an entire section devoted to vegetarian fare, plus a monthly taste-testing of all vegetarian food - my hopes were high.  Hubby and I started out with the pretzel app - VERY good and the accompanying mustard had a high concentration of horseradish - super yummy!  We also decided to split a caprese salad - Unfortunately, our waiter thought we wanted one a piece, so he brought out 2.  I don't mind paying $7 for a couple slices of tomato and mozzarella cheese; these salads however, were not worth the money.  The tomatoes weren't ripe, the mozzarella cheese didn't taste fresh and with the olive oil, the dish just tasted oily and cheap.  And I had to pay for 2 - sad.  :(  For the main course, I had the "chicken fried portobello" and the hubby had the fish and chips.  I'll start with the good: the hubby very much enjoyed the fish and chips - the batter on the fish was light and crispy /flaky - the perfect batter.  Unfortunately, the same technique was not used for my portobello mushroom "chicken-fry".  Oh my goodness - the batter was limp, undercooked/fried and the entire dish was SMOTHERED in this grayish-vegan gravy that was AWFUL!  I've had vegan gravies that are mouth-watering delicious, so I know it can be done.  I don't know what this was or why they wouldn't go with a white vegan-gravy, seeing as it was a "chicken-fry" dish, but if you decide to go to Picasso's and for whatever reason, you decide to order this plate - I HIGHLY recommend ordering the gravy on the side.  I couldn't get to any section of the mushroom that wasn't "contaminated" by the gravy, so I left hungry and had to grab fast food on the way home.  The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is b/c my hubby enjoyed his dish.

I won't be making the same mistake a 3rd time.

I love this place and don't know why I do not come here more often. They have so many vegetarian/vegan options and each veggie plate is listed with a red (vegan) or green (vegetarian) "V" on the menu. They have everything from quinoa tacos to veggie burgers and portabello sandwiches as well as vegan pizza and heavenly risotto croquettes. There is also an extensive drink menu and everything is pretty reasonably priced!

One of the greatest things about Picasso Cafe is the warm feeling indoors. There's a room with a couch and comfortable seating and there is also another space with a big round table for big groups. On many nights of the week there is live music and good service is generally expected. The patio that connects Picasso Cafe with the Other Room is a large, more casual space to hang out. You can also order food from Picasso Cafe if you are drinking at the Other Room. However, the Other Room is smoking and Picasso Cafe is not. Another great perk is that it is located in the Paseo so it is fun to walk around and you are not limited to just the one place you eat dinner. Definitely will be back and can't wait to try their four course + dessert veggie dinner on the third Tuesday of every month!

This is a great place for dinner and/or drinks. The menu is all over the place in a good way. I really enjoy their pizza. The service is also great at handling large groups. The bartenders are talented and will try their best to meet your needs. I had a very tasty hot chocolate with Baileys a couple of nights ago, and yes, it did help keep me warm (on top of being delicious). They have live music sometimes,so you might even get a show!

Picasso's is consistently delicious. My absolute favorite go-to meal is the prosciutto-wrapped dates, and a chop salad with added blackened chicken. Everything else is great. The service has always been attentive, no matter what time of day or how busy it is. The clientele ranges from super-casual group of hipster friends to older more conservative paseo-goers. And I love that the kitchen is open late so you can order from the bar connected through the back patio, The Other Room! And I've always had a good brunch.

I love this place. They have really good food at a pretty good price. There is always a laid back feel about Picasso's that keeps me coming back. The chicken sandwich is spectacular. Very average name but an amazing sandwich. It is always a good thing to be attached to a fun little bar like the Other Room, too.

Last night was date night at the Paseo! We arrived at Picasso around 5:45pm and were seated right away. We weren't starving so we decided to order stuff we could split:
    1) White cheddar  queso w/ chorizo- The queso was really thick and rich. I got tired of chewing on the chips plus I'm not sure if I like chorizo! It kinda left a weird after taste in my mouth.
    2) Ceasar Salad- lightly dressed. Comes with hand made croutons, shredded parm. The leaves were fresh, not wilted, very crispy! The dressing wasn't overly garlicy. One plate was big enough to split between two OR if you're eating on your own- order an appetizer and you're good for dinner :)
    3) Indian Taco w/ Ahi Tuna- I had to try the fried flat bread. The thing is HUGE so I'm glad the BF and I split it. He's not a big fan of tomatoes with fish bc of a bad experience he had at Anthony's Fish Grotto in San Diego.... I'm a bit indifferent. The bread was topped with home made vegetarian chili, cilantro, shredded romaine, creme fraiche and seared ahi. The chili was too sweet for me and contained black beans and maybe pinto beans? Lots of tomatoes hence the reason why I think the chili would be best on the side with corn bread. The ahi was perfectly cooked and my saving grace. Honestly wished they served the taco with a white sauce, shredded cabbage salad, queso fresco and that's it. *sigh because the bread is just too good to be true.
The prices are very reasonable and the service is grand. Our waiter never left our water glasses empty  -kudos to him!

Had dinner for the first time at Picasso's Cafe last weekend. First impression was that this place was a cool, laid back and trendy place to hang out. Its the kind of place you would expect to have some good beers, comfortable atmosphere and tasty appetizers.  To my surprise, it was a whole lot more than that! There were four of us and we all completely loved what we ordered. The menu is small, but I'm fine with that. Everything we had was delicious. I had a steak and pasta dish...can't remember name. The beer selection was great with plenty of imports and unique brews to please my beer snob appetite. The service was great. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back.

On a cross-country road trip, discovered this little gem. Food is fresh and especially creative. I got the quinoa tacos - as a vegan, I knew I'd love them. But my husband has some closet carnivorous tendencies and he declared them to be among some of the best tacos he's had. He reported that no one would miss the meat, and in fact, we should try to bribe the waitress to sneak us the recipe. (We were unsuccessful, but we're going to do our best to try to recreate them here in San Diego!)

Gosh, almost a year later with an update. Picasso's has just gotten better and better.  They are now doing food nights (Vegetarian only meals - for instance). The specials they post on Facebook always sound good. I still haven't had a bad meal here. It's cool to see something local grow up (Plaza district for example) and I hope they continue to see success.

Went the night before Valentines day to beat the rush. My lovely girlfriend had the Mac N Cheese and it looked awesome. As I am a lactard I couldn't verify its deliciousness it looked really good. I had the chicken fried portabella. Watch out Chuck House! This dish was so good. Mine was served with asparagus and some other side. It was a great experience. No wait, nice live music, good beer selective & great service. We are so excited to go again.

Picasso's Cafe is the anchor of the Paseo Arts District. Lined with artists studios and shops, the art district would not really lend itself to a full night out on the town without a spot like this. They have a great list of wines by the glass, lots of beer and at least one very affordable and tasty beer on special at all times, and they always make great mixed drinks. You won't find craft cocktails, but this is a good spot for all the standbys.

The menu has some very bright spots. The apps menu is tops: the risotto croquettes, the trio, the cheese plate, you really cannot go wrong with any of these. Additionally, their selection of not-your-standard vegetarian options is very strong, and their pizzas are a standout. Over the years, I've only had a few of the entrees. I love that there is a good selection of different types of options, but for my money, I usually choose something from their list of can't miss items.

If you're lucky enough to be there on a night with local music, settle in and enjoy the show. Picasso does a great job of booking the best up-and-coming musicians. The servers also make it a point to make sure you feel welcome for the duration of the show. It is nice to know that you can sit and enjoy rather than feel like you're being rushed out just because you've slowed down. Bonus points to management for working hard to accommodate large parties and for all the support of OKC's live music scene.

One of our favorites! The staff is always VERY nice. Drinks are great, but the food....it's delicious. My favorites are the spinach salad and cheesy artichoke dip. And the mushroom risotto.

I would advise not going on the first Friday of the month unless you are prepared to wait a while, as the Paseo Friday Artwalk makes this extraordinary busy. Otherwise I've always been pleased with wait times.

Just try it. You will be so glad you did!

This place gets 5 stars from me for the pretzel alone - all I can think about is that amazing pretzel which has changed my life!

What I've Had:  Amazing pretzel, amazing pretzel, amazing pretzel, Veggie Pizza, Veggie Chili, Mac N'Cheese, Tilapia, Spinach & Artichoke Dip

The pretzel will change your life.  The sauces, the moistness of the bread (it comes out piping hot too) and the perfect butter/salt combination is just to die for.  Our group kept ordering pretzels because they were so amazing - I've had some great ones before but this was by far and away the best.  You can laugh all you want but this pretzel was UNREAL.

The tilapia was cooked to perfection as well and had great sides and sauces and the pizza slice I had was great as was the mac n'cheese and pretty much everything on the menu.  The spinach & artichoke dip was also a winner with amazing warm pita bread to compliment the dip perfectly.

The restaurant is located in the nice art district of Paseo and has a great feel to it and very nice service.  It would have been nice to have been told the kitchen was closing before bringing out the bill though since our group wanted dessert but it was a great experience nonetheless.  Will definitely be back here whenever I visit my family in Oklahoma for sure!

I can't decide which is better.

Getting really fat on a really rich Bleu Cheese cream sauce on a perfectly cooked chicken thigh OR getting drunk off my ass at twelve in the afternoon because their Bloody Mary's do a really fucking good job.

Either way, Picasso's fucks me up.

    And I love it.

I like the abusive relationship we have with each other.

    Because I'm obsessed. Kind of.

My friend and I actually went here last night. It was really chill and I was surprised how dead it seemed on a Saturday night because the service was great, food was really good(we got a pizza), drinks were strong, and the live music set a chill tone. We were there until about 11. Maybe it livens up after that?

I would still recommend it though and plan to go back. It really is a cool little place. They play good background music and live music. My friend and I were able to have a good conversation without yelling or feeling like others were listening in (even after the live music).

The people they were supposed to have play didn't show up and the music got started late despite the band being there at about 9:15... (it was supposed to start at 9:30, they didn't play until 10:40 ish) not sure if there was some disconnect or something it was kind of weird. they ended up being good though.

My friend *ahem* Chris B. mentioned that I review A LOT of pizza places... What can I say? I like good pizza. Well here's ANOTHER pizza review for ya!

When I think of happy hour, I think of good cheap eats and Picasso has one of the best.

1/2 price pizzas (making them $6)
    M-Sa 3PM-6PM, TR-Sa 11PM-1AM!!

However, please note that Picasso does not serve ONLY pizza. There are a bunch of goodies on their menu such as sandwiches, soups (like lobster bisque!), salads, and other entrees (like chicken fried portabello!).

Anyways, like I said before.. this IS a pizza review so back to the flat carbs with stuff on top...

The pizzas here are not too small, not too big, but just right. It can probably feed 3 moderately hungry people or 2 really hungry people.

Feeling adventurous, our party of three ordered 2 pizzas:

    1. spinach, bacon, mushroom, chicken, alfredo cream sauce
    2. chicken, sausage, chorizo, hamburger

Yum, yum, yum! Both pizzas were tasty, but I definitely loved the spinach combo. Those are my kind of toppings. The crust is thin, toppings are fresh, and everything is just plain good! What more can you ask for?? Even with stuffing ourselves, we still ended up with almost a full pizza to take home.

Service was great. Nice casual, but classy atmosphere. Great location right in the middle of the Paseo. This would be a nice place to take a date, especially during First Fridays (monthly Paseo artwalk).

My friends and I decided to stop by here for dinner after the art walk since they were open late and still serving food. Great vibe, atmosphere, and live music. Once you're inside, it's hard to imagine this place is in Oklahoma.

My bf ordered the chicken sandwich, which was really delicious. I ordered the arugula/beet salad with chicken, which was a little heavy on the dressing, but still good.

Service was a bit slow, but overall, Picasso is great place to spend a late Friday night.

We went a couple weeks ago on a whim for a late dinner, 10pm to be exact.  I'll have you know OKC is almost impossible to get anything other than fast food, pancakes, or taco/hot dog stand food in later than 10pm.  This place serves DELICIOUSNESS until 1am I believe!  Great atmosphere with the starving artist types hanging out drinking imports and wine.  The singer was great.  Neil Young and 3 Dog Night covers.  Great place to spend an evening.  I'll be back for sure!  BTW, the pan seared chicken with gorgonzola and bacon cream sauce was incredible.  Plus, the prices are very, very fair!  Win-win
