Came across this place after driving around for a bit trying to find somewhere new to eat at. Walked in and was immediately impressed. Its clean, not too loud, amazing music choices playing and very warm atmosphere. Our waiter/bartender, Rob, was very prompt, polite and knowledgeable on what they had to offer. Mixed a mean drink! The food is better than most bars since the meats are fresh from western meats across the street. I will be coming back for sure. Great place to grab a beer and a bite! A++
Review Source:The Barn is great because of the atmosphere / crowd / staff / drinks / specialty sandwiches and soup. Â The atmosphere is inviting and warm, with a nice collection of local memorabilia. Â The crowd ranges young to old, depending on what time of day or night you arrive, the crowd is always great. Â Easily the best place to meet friends. Â The bartenders are quick, efficient and make great drinks. Â The cooks prepare some of the finest specialty sandwiches and soup and town. Â * Clean bathrooms
Review Source:Pints Barn is a nice little tavern in Tumwater that is pretty easy to get to. Â The food we tried was really good and the entire menu looked great. Â The service was also good and I liked the entire ambience and decor of the bar. Â My only complaint is that they didn't have the tap selection like Pints & Quarts which I was expecting. Â But the bartender could pour a good black n tan so I can't be upset.
Review Source:I would classify this as two things a PUB or a Dive bar. Â I felt right at home the bartenders where nice and when I asked about a local he did not steer me wrong. Â He knew all the types he had the difference and you can not beat that. Â Stop by for a brew you will not be disappointed. Well besides the parking.
Review Source:We went here last night for St. Patrick's Day. Some of my family have been going to this place for a verrry long time. They have their own mugs!
The bartenders are awesome and sweet, and there are lots of draft selections. Also you HAVE to try the food. The sausages are all the rave. I had the nachos, which are covered in red onion, chili, cheese, and served with sour cream, salsa, and jalapenos. Incredible. There are lots of heaters in the outdoor area, as well as real [not electronic] dart boards.
What do you get when you take the classic Red Barn Tavern and re-do it Pints and Quarts style? A little slice of happiness close to home. I wasn't sure what to expect and I was very surprised that they have so much room in such a small space. They gutted it and started from scratch. My favorite detail is all of the big slabs of wood used as tables and side bars. Very comfortable for a native Northwesterner.
The crowd is very laid back and a bit older than the other P&Q locations. A great jukebox and oversized communal tables all add to the vibe. They have a decent beer selection and friendly, attentive staff. I had dinner there the other night and it was good and nicely priced. They don't have a grill or deep fryer due to size constraints and the menu is a bit more creative as a result. They also serve some items from the guys across the street, Western Meats. Nice to support a neighbor.
The parking lot is a very tight. I'm a fan of parking above and using the stairs for a smoother getaway, and lower risk of door dings. Welcome to Tumwater Pints Barn. We're glad you're here!
