Well, it's definitely not Vegas, but I get why people from El Paso say it's the closest thing (in El Paso).
The location was fairly spacious and they had a nice big dance floor. Â They were actually playing good dance music! Â
They had a guy controlling the bathroom line which was backed up the stairs that lead down to the bathrooms. Â 3 stalls?? Â Really? Â Why do clubs ALWAYS put in such little plumbing? Â They did, however, put a large round hand washing station outside of the bathroom which I think is a great idea. Â There are no locks on the stall doors.
It's a nice additional to El Paso and I will be back.
I'm not sure where Plum City comes into play because I'm pretty sure that El Paso is the Sun City (the dark tan I permanently sport is proof). Â Aside the misnomer, there were just a couple other things that kept this place from garnering more stars:
First, too much VIP seating. Â I get you make your money off bottle service, but when you put a huge roped off section smack dab in the middle of your dance floor, you cut down on the party space. Â And considering I liked most of the music coming from the DJ booth, I would have liked more room to twirl around "Dancing Queen" style, but I digress.
The second thing, and ladies, you'll probably agree on this one. Â In order to get to the bathroom, you have to walk down some treacherously steep steps! Â Try doing that after a few dranks in 4 inch heels and things can get scary. Â Not to mention it's gross when you look down and dudes are standing under said staircase trying to peep girls walking down in skirts/dresses. Â Stain!
