Bring a customer at Randazzo's for the past 10 years and eat here at least at least  a few times a month.  Food has always been great and great a value.  Never once had a bad experience with service.  This is not a counter service restaurant so not sure what another reviewer is complaining about.
Review Source:The fact that anyone could give Randazzo anything less than 5 stars breaks my heart. I've been going here with my family since I was a very little girl - and for good reason. The pizza is unbeatable and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. One day I even hope to take my own kids so they can join in the spirits that I was so constantly surrounded by growing up.
Review Source:Food/service was fine but really nothing was memorable and I wouldn't return. We got the white pizza which tasted good but I've definitely had better white pizza. I also got the gnocchi with marinara which was fine although the sauce was pretty boring.
It was completely empty at 8 pm on a Thurs.
This place was horrible. We were looked at like we were crazy because we did not want to dine in we just wanted to eat our full peacefully without a waiter. They made us feel very uncomfortable & the food was nothing to tell about . As leaving a heard a women with her family state "how rude." I will never be back here. They also keep implying that they do not sell slices when we never asked if they did . They definitely need better customer service
Review Source:Love Randazzo! Â Moved to Jersey in 1998, went to Randazzos almost weekly for 9 years, then moved back to CA. Â But every time I go back to Summit, NJ I go to this place. Â It's like the Cheers of small Italian restaurants. Â You see friends down there every Friday and Saturday nights and it's loud but fun. Â Joe Randazzo is the nicest guy, almost always there, stopping by your table to say hello to customers. Â He's owned the place 31 years. Â Mario in the back is a great chef. Â The food is simple, very tasty, and plentiful. Â That dressing on the salad is to die for. Â God, I wish I had a Randazzos in San Diego. Â I really miss this place. Â I urge you try it out. Â Have the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, the Cavatelli with Broccoli, or the linguine with oil and garlic. Â Just outstanding. Â Don't go there for tabletops with white linens or big wine lists. Â Not the place. Â Go there with your family, have a nice meal, laugh with friends, bring your own wine, and have fun. Â That's what it's all about.
Review Source:Excellent service plus delicious Italian food!  Hard to find combo now days! My family had the Fried Calamari with the hot sauce. Garlic bread, and the Sicilian Antipasto to start - yum!!!  My son loves their Chicken Francese with a side of linguine and a salad that comes with it.  Every time he is home from college he can't wait to go out to dinner here and get his favorite.  MY father-in-law loved the freshness and nice pieces of clam in the Linguine with white clam sauce.  I had the Chicken Murphy, which I love, my husband tried something new - Veal Saltimbocca that is served over a bed of sautéed spinach - it was very tasty and delicious.  MY mother-in-law is fussy and was extremely happy with her Broiled Flounder.  My cousin had a Margherita Pizza and a salad with the best dressing she ever tasted!  We brought our favorite wine, had Tartufo for dessert, all were very happy!  The food was fresh and delicious, and we were served with a smile.  We will return next week and we highly recommend Randazzo Restaurant.  It is a gem.
Review Source:Randazzo's! What a family favorite. We used to go every week when I was growing up and it's still the same Joe Randazzo who runs it and is great. A lot of people get take out as well as big family groups get together and sit in the large booths on the side.
They make their own salad dressing in their basement which is to die for and their bread is very good. It's just a nice family restaurant with good Italian food for whatever mood you're in - ravioli, pizza, great penne al vodka. Good portions and just a good sort of hidden place in Summit.
