Reunion.....
We've been here a number of times. Â Decor is upscale, the outside seating area is really nice, especially during warmer weather. Â Love the Friday happy hour food and drinks!!! Â Crowd like they mention fits our style, 30-40's with a sprinkling of 20's thrown in... Â Music is way better than the other place that caters to the the same clientele downtown.... Â I'm not into continuous old-school ... I wanna dance ;-).
They say there is a dress code enforced but this is only if you try to get in with a hoody ,sportswear, etc.  At times,  we've felt overdressed in a LBD or other similar outfit but then; we get more attention that way ;-), and faster service  .. Come-on Girls... Spice it up abit.. Leave the pants/jeans at home!!!! LoL!! Â
Yes, it is a drive from Sac, Elkgrove, Roseville, etc... We drive 40mins...But we always include shopping or RH up the road to make it worth it...
Love the theme nights... Those are the bomb!!! Make sure to go to those...
xo
PS: Watch-out for the check-point on Folsom road during holiday week-ends.
Outstanding upscale nightclub! The pictures do not give this place justices. I am in love with th patio. Catching the sunset is amazing. The inside is very intimate and contemporary. The dinner buffet they offer is great. The bar area is decked out. This place is worth driving up to if you don't live in the area.
Review Source:I've only been here once and had a great time. Â Definitely a more grown up type night club and feels so much more upscale then the 20 something clubs. Â Lots of comfortable seating indoors and outdoors. Â Great view outside of the pond and fountains in Town Center. Â Great playlist of music from every decade. Â Drinks were not over priced either. Â Would definitely come again!
Review Source:beautiful, chic, ultra modern, upscale... did i mention beautiful? Â the latest lounge/dance club provides an exemplary playground for those in desperate need of a fresh and new venue away from the tired downtown Sac scene. Â I'll try to take pictures, but no photo can do the space and sexy lighting justice.
they offer ayce small bites stations for $8 Friday evenings 7pm-9pm and no cover, and complimentary small bites stations every Saturday evening from 8pm-10pm with a $5 cover. Â I haven't had the pleasure (the menu is meat heavy), but based on the menu one would be silly not to try them.
the men in black (doormen) always greet us with smiles and genuinely ask about our evening. Â when we had no clue what cocktails we craved, the bartenders have been friendly and happily dazzled us with their creativity. Â the dj never disappoints and escorts us on a 3 hour whirl over the dance floor every time.
yes it's in El Dorado Hills, and the crowd is thankfully more mature and classy- picture late 20's and older. Â if that isn't your flavor, there's plenty of beer pong at your favorite dive bar...
A place that I love to frequent because it is really that great! Something El Dorado Hills has needed for a long time. The decor of this place is absolutely gorgeous and I love the lounge vibe. After reading some other reviews and laughing at the people that think the crowd is too old, or that there are too many cougars... is that really an issue? At least the people that go to Reunion carry themselves well and are not sloppy drunks being annoying and bothersome to other people trying to have fun, unlike your typical nightclubs downtown. The drink prices are those of your standard nightclub, but all the bartenders that work there pour some super strong drinks. (Huge bonus) The ENTIRE staff that they have are ALL fabulous! The guys at the door are super polite, the door girl is friendly, and the bartenders are always on top of their game and are very outgoing. I love watching the bartenders dance with each other behind the bar because it shows that they are having fun and that they actually DO enjoy their job. They have a DJ that plays a wide variety of music ranging from old school jams, trendy top 40, and hip hop. Â Everytime I have been to Reunion, it has always been a wonderful experience and I look forward to having many more. Â To the people that have had less fortunate experiences, don't be so judgemental and give it another chance. It amazes me how quick people are to "bash" a business... try being a little more open minded and positive, it will get you a lot further in life. Thanks Reunion! You guys rock!! See you soon :)
Review Source:Awful, awful, awful. Â We had a birthday celebration last night with close to 20 guest. Â Dyelan (sp ?) was an off duty employee but kind enough to give me a tour before the party guest arrived. Â He introduced me to the manager John, who basically ignored me. Â Told me he was with another customer and then walked into the back room. Â Later we asked him if we could have a birthday cake that our friend brought to the party and he said no because the carpets had just been shampooed but we could have cupcakes instead. Â The cake was already at our tablet to do, what to do? Â John (manager) said "then just have the cake since it's already here!". And walked away. Â I went back to the party and told the guest what had happened..they couldn't believe what John had said. Â Â We didn't have the cake but we will ALL not return there any more. Â There are plenty of local places that can accommodate our requests. Â We all left shortly after. Â Not the friendliest! Â This place won't stay in business long...guarantee!
Review Source:Three & a half stars...
Is the place nice? It's beautiful. The ambiance outside of the club is already pretty (then again, you ARE in El Dorado Hills). As soon as you go inside, the lights and layout make you feel like you're in a fancy nightclub, too. The dance floor is pretty big.
I came here for my best friend's birthday so I didn't mind driving all the way from Elk Grove, but I don't know if I would do it again.
The DJ was really good toward the end of the night when he started playing more hip hop. When I first got there at midnight, I didn't like anything he was playing. I don't even know what he was playing! We had a booth & the service was amazing. We got new shot glasses and cups as soon as we requested & they kept checking up on us.
Here's the downside: so many older folks. My other best friend joked, saying "I know why this is called Reunion now... They all reunite here!" It's also not very diverse as far as cultures go, for me. But like I said... We were in El Dorado Hills.
If I lived in the area, I wouldn't mind going here again. But, I wouldn't drive 45mins to go here ever again unless it's for someone really important. Look at it this way: it's the people you're with that makes the experience, not the place. So if you're okay with an older crowd or cougars and majority Caucasian, you'll be okay going here.
Reunion honestly scared the sequins off my blouse. I have never seen so many hungry tigers in my life. I didn't know who was coming or going/which men or women were trying to suck my blood.
I'm 26... and I felt like I had walked into a key party filled with people that could have been my parents friends (if they weren't wearing imposture leather and cologne/perfume). If I had a nickel for how many times I was called "baby girl" or "sweetie", "hun", blah, I can't even... The funny part is that I work in finance in NYC and probably make more money that 99% of the neophytes at this hell hole, yet they were treating me like it would be a privilege for my friends and I to sit with their bald headed cronies.
Oh and if one more, 40 something female smacked me with her 2001 Coach bag I was going to personally take out my 2013 Givenchy and wack the synthetic wig off her poorly rejuvederm injected face
Three words: nose. hair. trimmer.
Bottom line: The next time I'm in town I will be sure to just hire a bartender to serve my friends and I a couple belveder martinis and some goddamn Dom.
I'm not a club type person, but if I were and lived closer to EDH, I would probably frequent this place. Â It felt cozy and classy. Â The staff was very friendly and helpful. Â The food was good. Â The drinks were strong. Â They have live music there, which is the only night there is a cover. Â I believe they cater to an older crowd (read 30s, 40s +), which is a good idea since those are the people who have income to dispose.
Review Source:Went to their VIP event during their opening weekend. Â Was welcomed by extremely polite bouncers, charming girls at the guest sign-in, and cirque du soleil-style performers in the intimate entry area. Â
And the word "intimate" is what comes to mind when I think about this club. Â It is a series of intimate, yet spacious areas, starting with the entry, then opening into the bar to the right which wraps around, and a viewing area to the left with some seating and standing room, overlooking the small dance floor. Â The bar counter is gorgeous, under lit so that the granite glows (I'm taking note for future decorating ideas!).
The place is long and narrow, taking up almost the whole length of the New Orleans style building (which also houses Selland's), on the east side of the lake in the El Dorado Hills Town Center. Â I can only imagine how fun it will be in the summers when we can hang out on the patio, overlooking the lake! Â The patio has comfortable couches and plenty of room to mingle.
The bartenders are numerous, and good. Â Love JoJo, he was so friendly, remembered my name and my drink :) Â Appetizers are walked around until 9pm, and the cost is included in the cover; after 9pm, I believe you have to pay for the food. Â I've been there a couple times since the VIP event and haven't had to pay a cover yet...
Good music, and the place seems to appeal to people of all age groups; I've seen older couples in their sixties, to kids that look like they just got out of high school (but then if you know me, you know I'm a really poor judge of age!) Â While it is a nightclub, I've gone with friends who've spent their entire night sitting in the back lounge, chatting and catching up. Â Dancing is truly optional!
And another thing? Â I felt completely comfortable walking in there on my own. Â Not usually something that I would do...
Amazing DJ! This is an amazing lounge!!!!
So classy, beautiful, elegant... Need I go on?
The bartenders are nice, cheery, and fast with getting your drink made.
The lounging area next to the dance  is floor comfy. Did I mention there is a dance floor?
Room to dance! The DJ's here know how to rock this place into a great time!!!
Great place! El Dorado Hills just got an upgrade in it's nightlife party spots! Went to the Grand Opening a couple weeks ago and had a blast. Great music, fun vibe and awesome decor. Everything is very well done and the drinks were solid too. They have a huge back patio that's great to hang out when you need a break from the dance floor. Can't wait to be back here soon.
