Riverside Deli

Rarely open on time.  Occasionally out of bagels.  Sandwiches can be OK but typically overcooked chicken is the main focus.

I would consider this deli very expensive and not worth the money.  

The owner is odd but nice and he definitely working hard but probably shouldn't own a deli.

How does a bagel store NOT have bagels?
How does a deli NOT make sandwiches the way the customer wants them?
How can a deli serve a sandwich with barely any ingredients in it?

I ordered and had to reorder 3 times because they cant get it right. Even during the making of the sandwich I had to watch over as they messed up and needed me to repeat what I ordered AGAIN.

I brought the sandwiches home because although the drinks I bought were in the fridge, they were luke warm. No ice on site. At 2pm. When I brought it home, I noticed how small the sandwich was, how warm the drinks were, I was shocked they are still in business until I found out that it was recently purchased and this is a new owner?!! Great way to start your deli business, sinking an already sinking ship. STRAY AND STAY AWAY.

PS- the unlcleanliness is evident from the nasty ratty sidewalk seating to the dusty dirty countertops to the deliticians not even wearing foodgloves.

WHAT A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!!!

The most narrow minded, ignorant, low class staff I have ever come across. My family and I were traveling from NYC to Boston and stopped in for some sandwiches. We changed our minds and opted for something different. Nothing against the place, everyone just wanted something else. As we walked out the guy behind the counter started mocking the language my family speaks. I have never encountered someone so blatantly rude and racist to customers. I was still behind the counter when everyone walked out and I told him "that's rude" but that didnt stop him. In my face he continued to mock us. Such a complete asshole. I'm so glad we didn't spend our money there.
