Pomodoro Pizzeria & Trattoria

Small restaurant specializing in traditional Italian fare. Food was great, service was attentive and the beer was cold. All in all it hit the spot.

Been coming here for years- even get takeout to bring to the grandparents! Have tried almost everything on the menu. Its real authentic italian food and always is fresh and tastes amazing. Recommend getting penne vodka, pizza, even salads are great. On pricier side but its greenwich prices. Get big pasta portions and usually bring a bit home. :-)

Downside is its a small restaurant. Tables are 6in apart from each other and only seat 2-4ppl. theres only 2 booths that fit 6-8ppl and its gets rather noisy when the restaurant is full. Avoid in summer people usually wait outside and wait time can be up to an hour.

Fresh Italian food and reasonable prices.  Mostly use it for delivery
Recommendation: salad, soup, pizza, pasta

Cons: small for large gatherings and very busy. Plan to avoid weekend dinner since it gets busy.
