First time dining at Rockstar. Great pizza spot in Brownsburg. Did the White Out pizza and added chicken, feta, tomato, artichokes and mushrooms. Had it on their thin crust. The crust was perfect stayed crispy throughout. They also brought us some free samples of a bruschetta they are wanting to add to the menu. That was a real treat and I recommend they do add this. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone.
Review Source:What a great place. Â It was not packed at all on the day that I went but I should have been. Â Such good pizza. Â It is in the line of my favorite style. Â Very thin crust, sauce and toppings and then a ton of cheese on top of them. Â It really reminded me of my childhood because I went to the New Bethel Ordinary with my parents alot. Â This pizza was very similar. Â We also took advantage of the offer they had on yelp with was a free appetizer with the purchase of a large pizza if you dine in. Â BBQ wings is what we got. Â They were very lightly breaded, which gave them a great crunch. Â I was overall very impressed with my experience. Â When ever I am in Brownsburg and hungry, I will be making a stop at Rockstar for sure.
Review Source:When you walk into Rockstar you KNOW you're in for an experience that is going to be unique, intriguing and fun! The walls are covered in music industry items. There's a few gold albums as well as back stage passes, signed photos and posters adorning the walls. The girls behind the counter are very sweet and also very pretty.
Anyway, My dad and I went to try out the new Chicago style pizza, it was LOADED with meat, veggies and cheese. You know how some places have that over rosemaried taste on the pizza? Rockstar, doesn't do that .Furthermore I ate two pieces of this wonderful piece of art work and I was FULL!
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "Oh Josh, isn't the pizza greasy? You know with it being LOADED with Meat, cheese and veggies, wouldn't it be greasy like those other places? NO! It's not greasy at all! Do this, take it home in a box, and when you get home, look in the box where the pizza rests. No grease stains. Go try it!
Make sure to try the breadsticks too, They make em good! They were simply phenomenal! Crisp, just enough garlic and soft in the middle. Just the way I like it!
Furthermore, The price is just right. 15 bucks for a 3 topping pizza? That's phenomenal! Oh I'll be back. There's no question about that.
If I could complain about anything it would be about nothing having a bell or buzzer in the front. That place is loud and no one can hear you in the back unless you cough loudly.I spoke with the owner and he agreed with me. He told me that the bell had gotten stolen in the past. So as of right now, No bell, use your voice.
I hope that by reading this review you get a better sense of what Rockstar has to offer their customers. And when you go, make sure to tell them Josh M. sent you!
Seems like there may be a few recent fake reviews of this joint, so I'll give it a real review. Â
Rockstar is located in an historic Brownsburg building near their town hall. Â The decor is straight up weird. Â Pictures of rockers from all genres and eras cover every area of open space. Â I use the term rockers loosely because I was staring at Miley Cyrus's laminated mug on my table top until my pizza arrived to cover her up. Â
I tried a couple of their specialties, the meat lovers and buffalo chicken. Â They were both tasty with lots of meat and cheese, but I wasn't blown away. Â The crust is really thin and crispy- good if you're into that kind of crust.
The yelp iphone app told me I could get a free order of cheesy bread. Â The server had no idea what I was talking about, but I showed her and she honored the offer. Â The bread came with a garlic butter dipping sauce, and in my opinion, it was the highlight of the meal.
The owner came out of the kitchen to check on us and told us they occasionally host private events to introduce new pizza and other items to a select group before adding them to the menu. Â My friend, fellow diner and Brownsburg resident gave her contact info to the owner for future invites.
No alcohol.
Dined in last night at Rockstar and we were super happy as clams. Â Loved the service, the ambiance of the place and of course the food. Â The place is decorated with REAL platinum plaques of the people that the owner previously worked for. Â Our table had an autographed Omarion poster glazed into it. Â Pirates of the Caribbean was on the TV (muted) and old school rock and pop was on the local radio station. Â The pizza was as tasty as ever and the kicker that bumped it up a star was the homemade lemonade. Â Yes, not some syrup from a box mixed with water, but actual lemon juice, sugar and ice! Â Love it! Â Might go back tomorrow.
