Good service both visits.  My omelets (tried both the gouda one and ham/cheddar) were wonderful.  Both of our pancakes (I had pecan and he had regular) were a bit dry, but still pretty good with syrup.  My husband liked the steak and eggs he had but wasn't raving about anything in particular.

Typical diner fare.  A nice spot to have dinner at a very reasonable price if you're in the area, but not something I'd drive out of my way to have.

Rosie's was the cutest little place! My parents and I went there for breakfast and it was awesommmme! My dad had some kind of mexican omelette and I was very jealous because it was incredible. I had a western omelette which was also incredible. The atmosphere was cute and had 50's decorations. I felt like I was at a Soda Fountain or whatever those were called back in the day! They even have a joke of the day, which was cute.

In a word: PANCAKES!!! They serve the best pancakes I have ever had in my life. Truly, don't even need syrup. They are good writh just butter. Staff is very attentive... Oh, and try the made from scratch corned beef hash!

Had a good Greek Salad here with my family.  Chicken was moist, lettuce was fresh and the dressing was really good.  Dad had a short stack and enjoyed the pancakes.  My son had an egg  and turkey sausage breakfast sandwich with potatoes.  he seemed perfectly fine with his choice and my husband had the sampler with, bacon, ham and sausage.  He liked his meal but it was to much for him and left some food on his plate.

At the cash register they have old fashioned candy.  We got Cherry Mash's we ate later in the day.  The patio us nice and it is pretty funky inside.  I will probably return when I am in the neighborhood.

Cheap Diner Food with a decent size menu. Way better then waffle house or the like.
Would go again for a late night or cheap menu.

Drove by one day during weekdays, fairly packed inside but no waiting time.
    Very nice server, friendly etc
Order 2 breakfast "Handyman's" with pancakes and french toast, as well as bacon and sausage links as well as coffee.
Typical diner coffee, with individual thermos (which was pretty dirty from the outside).
Both orders of food were cold (everything) and hash-browns missed being brown at all and somewhat missing flavor. Only the french toast appeared and tasted good.

Waiter offered to reheat it but I do not like microwaved heated up breakfast.
He mentioned that one of the heating lamps is "busted" and offered discount.
Received 50% off our order which was ok.

    Overall will not return
Unique old diner interior, appears somewhat clean and classic but probably seen better days and us only this once a life time.

I hate to have to do this but that's what Yelp is all about...honesty.

The place was empty, the wait was very long, my food came out stale and cold and the waitress put her finger on the rim of my husband's cup as she asked what he was drinking. I hope she hadn't been digging in her nose...Yuck! But we all take a chance when we eat away from home.

On a better note...the Rosie's Diner in Monument, CO is very delicious!

Good diner food. Eat this every day and you'll weigh 300 lbs in no time.

I live right around the corner from this place & just haven't made the time to go in there and see what it's about... until this morning.  And I have to say, I was greatly disappointed.  I obviously wasn't missing anything.

Walking into the doors I immediately noticed the dirty glass on the doors, dirty handles, and dirty floors.  The candy display case at the front just seemed sad looking.  Walking to our booth I couldn't help but cringe at the lame attempt at 50's decor.  I mean, we had a cardboard cutout of Marilyn Monroe next to us.  Lame.  Booth seats were sticky & had lost a lot of their cushioning so it was similar to sitting on a vinyl covered log.

Drinks came out and 2 of the 4 cups were filthy.  I'm talking huge lipstick marks on both of them, filthy.  When we showed them to the waitress she was apologetic and said that "they went through the dishwasher".  My question was... was there soap in that dishwasher??  She returned with clean cups... but the Coke was flat.

I ordered the biscuits & gravy breakfast with hashbrowns.  The gravy was cold, the biscuits were hard, and the hashbrowns were raw.  My plate was filthy & had a gray film all over it.  Silverware was spotty and I had to scratch off a piece of old food.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all.  If I could've given it zero stars I would have.  I think they need a surprise visit from the health inspector.  Ugh.

Nice little diner.  Pretty decent/cheap food in an old school diner.  Pretty standard.  Check them out.

Had a cup of coffee here at the bar.  Noone refilled it.  That bothers me.

Great food. Good service.  The portions were large and the prices were reasonable.

Typical diner fare with a farely large menu.

I had the meatloaf which was pretty good.  I would like to go back and try the burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes.

The Good: This joint feels like a cheesy 50's diner. They have the cardboard cutouts of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe and everything. Also, the walls have the pictures of old celebrities and a plaque that says when they were born and when they died. It fits the theme very well.

The Bad: The nursing home has field trips to this place, and it is hard to navigate around them as they mill about. I don't want to insult anyone's grandmother, so that is all I'll say on that point.

The Ugly: This service was awful. Easily some of the worst I've ever had. First, our maître d' just stood and stared at us as me and my wife entered the joint, as his manager yelled at him from behind the counter to seat us. Did I say yell? I meant screamed. Not that yelling is really any better. Our waitress was rude, and very unhelpful. I had to ask three separate times for water, and she ignored me as I attempted to get her attention to address our meal situation (another patron final physically stopped her and made her go to our table)

The place was dirty. My seat had food on it, that they never did clean it up after I mentioned it, all of our plates had food stuck to them. And the bathroom was gross! It was really bad, like they had never cleaned it before. Also, it always smelled as if something was burning.

Other: For me, this next part was the worst, but you be the judge. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich. Now, in all my experiences with this incredibly bad for you sandwich, it is made with turkey, ham, swiss and then the WHOLE SANDWICH is dipped in egg-battered and fried. THIS IS THE DESCRIPTION ON THE MENU AS WELL! But the sandwich's bread was the only thing that got fried. When I finally asked our waitress about this, she said that that was how the sandwich is always made everywhere. When I told her that the menu listed it differently, she said no it doesn't, and then walked away. (It totally did).

Conclusion: Rude and Dirty? And that rude? Never again. Never.

I like this place. Too much on the menu. Early bird breakfast is a great deal.

After reading other reviews I was expecting a little more from Rosie's. I had lunch here first, just a plain old Cheeseburger and fries. My burger was pre-made and the fries were the pre-seasoned kind. The portions were generous. They serve breakfast all day, so I decided to come back and give that a try mainly because the prices were reasonable. That visit I had pancakes, they were a little doughy. My hash browns and bacon were good though. The grits had onions in them, which was a little strange...I don't recommend them.

Plain and simple: diner food, with a interesting 50's atmosphere. If you are in the area give it a try, can't say that I would drive out of the way though.

The food is great, prices are cheap, love the setting, hate the asian woman who works there, always gives us ugly looks as if she wishes that we didnt go there.

This diner is pretty good. I've been hear for every meal. Breakfast, gyro omelet was pretty tasty. Lunch, Mac and cheese AMAZING! Dinner, I've had there twice. Chicken fried steak is ok, typical frozen ones but you get two. Shrimp po boy was big. Enough shrimp, but heavy on lettuce and bread. One complaint is I'm in a wheelchair thanks to chemo and even when slow they don't help on doors except the time my dad fell on the wet floor. Which is very disappointing

Rosie's is one of my favorite places to eat at. It's close by and their menu has a wide variety to choose from. They serve breakfast all day which is awesome. The 50's style themed decorations keep you entertained while you wait for your food. They have pictures of celebrities and classic cars through out the restaurant. On my most recent visit I ordered the Lumberjack Skillet (potatoes, cheese, eggs, bacon and a biscuit). As always, it was delicious. While I'm a huge cheese lover, I think this was the first time I've ever thought there was a bit too much cheese. The potatoes could have used a little more seasoning, but over all it was a great breakfast.

Burnt toast, raw hashbrowns and way too many onions in my omelet. And my server doesn't seem to mind that the armpit is blownout in his shirt and that he smelled like a dirty ashtray. Disgusting! This place can't hold a candlestick to the diners in New Jersey.

Rosie's does it right as far as diners go. If you're in Aurora, or aren't, make your way to Rosie's. There's always a crowd, especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The price is right and the food hits the spot.

Bottom line: if you're looking for that good-diner-food fix, Rosie's is your place!

I have to say that I absolutely love Rosie's!  Ever since my first visit here last summer I've eaten here many times and I've taken several friends here as well.  It's consistently fantastic!  Excellent service, delicious food and a fun atmosphere.  I just LOVE the 50's style decor and music!

This morning my boyfriend took me out to Rosie's for breakfast.  I had the "handyman build your own breakfast" with bacon, sausage and french toast.  The coffee was nice and strong, the french toast melted in my mouth, the bacon was perfectly chewy and the hash browns were a nice mix of crispy and soft, just the way I like it.

I've only ever had lunch here once and had a gyro sandwich.  Pretty darn tasty!  I'd definitely have it again.  I haven't made it in for dinner yet or sampled any of the other non-breakfast items, but from experience and sampling multiple different breakfast items, I have to say that Rosie's is the BEST place to grab breakfast!  I will always recommend it, suggest it and drag newbies here whenever I can.

Keep doing what you're doing Rosie's!  Don't ever change!

Ive been here a dozen times now, always with my girlfriend and we choose something different every time. And so far have not been disappointed with anything we've received.
The services was friendly, the menu consist of what you might imagine in a 50's esq dinner. The breakfast burritos are excellent and how much you get for the price you pay is outstanding.

Been here for breakfast a half dozen times or so over the past couple of years.  Never had anything but breakfast so I can't comment on their sandwiches or dinners.

Good, solid diner style food that's nicely prepared and served by friendly and efficient staff.  I've had a couple of their skillets, a couple of their omelets, and this morning I had a short stack of pecan pancakes with a side of link sausage.  All very  tasty.  Probably not worth going out of your way for, but if you're in the area give'em a try.  You'll like it.

Wow, it is really not all that good.  Their Texas chili is bland and really is just a bunch of canned beans in the canned bean sauce.  Prices are too high for what you get, I would recommend going down the street a little ways to Sam's No 3 to get better food, more food for the $ and better service.  Best thing that I had here was the toast.  The 2nd star is just because I didn't get sick.

Very, very diner!  I am not sure if this was an actual diner from the 1950's or not, but if it isn't, you couldn't tell! I've gone here a few times for lunch, it's close to where I work, otherwise I never would have stopped here.  The service is good here and the food is fine. It's diner fare; burgers, fries, malts.  Priced just right too.

This is exactly what it's called, a Diner, but it has fast, efficient service, always clean and outstanding comfort food!  We eat here about 2-3 times a month and enjoy the breakfast burrito, pancakes and just about anything you order off the menu.  Everything is about $7-8 or less and you get HUGE helpings.  Keep it up, Rosie!  Doing a great job.

Fun place to take the kids to eat.  Menu is American style food.  Great milkshakes, etc.  Reasonably priced.  Good service.  Short review I know.  If you're curious about the place, just go already.

Rosie's was really good! It was a cute environment and the staff was really nice. To my surprise they even had a veggie burger which was one of the best I've ever had. I wish I would have had enough room for pie or a milkshake. They sold old fashioned candy at the register-cotton candy rock candy :)

Somehow breakfast doesn't appeal to me much but when I do get the craving I like going to places other than a Village Inn. Although Rosie's has a similar menu selection as Village Inn (like skillets, lunch and dinner items served all day) I would suppose that I like the less stuffy atmosphere. Everything seems brighter and more cheery. The fifties theme is cool and the food is good.  They have plenty of parking and the hours are accommodating to most people's schedule. Business hours are all week from 6am to 9pm.
