I really like this place. The food and wine was really good. The place is rather small but the day i went it was not crowded. Â I took over a star for service. The food and wine took a while to come. It was rather annoying since there wasnt that many people around. But nevertheless, I would go back!
Review Source:Living in the neighborhood, Rest-au-rant has always been there for us as a great local go-to for delicious food, beer and wine. From the sluggish mondays to the bustling saturday nights, the service has been held down by a regular & small staff that hustles like hell and has always kept us happy. We only wish that they would open earlier and sling coffees during the day! hint hint :)
Review Source:Chill vibe, great food, funky ambience. This is the kind of bar where you can always get a seat and actually have a conversation. I'm a big fan of Wednesdays, when you can get 20% off a bottle of wine. I have yet to check out the rest of their plentiful offerings of events, but the Bacon Happy Hour on Monday sounds fun.
They have also just started serving brunch from 11-4, which I just checked out yesterday. I had the shortrib grilled cheese, the BF had the chicken and waffles. Both of 'em were great, although if I had a quibble, it would be that the eggs were fried hard. I like a runny yolk, so next time I'll be sure to specify that. Entrees came with a free cocktail.
I love Rèst-âü-Ránt! Glad to have 'em in the neighborhood.
