Samuel's Sports Bar & j. Quincy's Restaurant

After multiple experiences at Samuel's (bar) that were great, my friends and I decided to go last Friday night. We were treated terribly at the door, including, who I assume was the bar manager for the night, calling a friend of mine garbage. The bouncer was rude, told me that my eyes were a different color than they are in my ID (I was taken aback, as I've never worn contacts and this is my only ID which is VERY clearly me). Not to mention, he didn't ask me about anything on my ID except for my eye color (which isn't stated on MA licenses), and told me that "I have to get a new license". We will not be returning, and I will be sure that all family and friends spread the word as well.

Stopped into Samuel's for lunch with my girlfriend. Waitresses were all good looking,  even my girlfriend agreed. I ordered a blackened chicken wrap and she ordered the pad thai. The wrap was decent. A little small for my liking but delicious nonetheless. Who would've guessed a sports bar offering pad thai but it was delicious! The place was pretty empty for lunch so I can't comment on the atmosphere but there are lots of TVs which as a sports fan, I can appreciate.

I should have listened to the reviews and not gone to this place.

We were seated at a really weird table. Because of the placement, the 3 of us pretty much sat in a row rather than across from each other. We ordered our food and waited for it to come.

Our onion rings came out as our appetizer. On the menu, the onion rings come with a honey mustard sauce and a zinger sauce. Our onion rings had neither of those sauces, but came out with a small side of KETCHUP. First of all, who eats onion rings with ketchup. Second of all, where were the two sauces as stated on the menu??? We asked the waitress and she didn't even know what sauces were supposed to come with the onion rings.

Finally, our meals came out. I ordered the Cobb salad which came with feta dressing - this dressing tastes like butthole, do not eat it. My friend ordered the "Boston Tenders" which are fried chicken cutlets. Nowhere on the menu did it state that there was any type of sauce on these "tenders". My friend does not like a lot of foods so she thought this was a safe choice because it didn't say anything on the menu about a sauce. The tenders come out COATED in some kind of wing sauce. She sucked it up and tried to eat them but they were unappealing. I will eat just about anything and thought they were pretty nasty.

This place sucks.
