Usually Sarpinos is our go to spot. They deliver hot, delicious pizza's in lickity split time. However, not sure who was working this evening, but after waiting much over the projected delivery hour (when they usually get here in 30 minutes since they are down the block), two cold personal pizza's were delivered. We didn't realize until after the delivery man left so, we immediately called the store. They apologized and said they would immediately send two replacement pizza's and would take back the old pizza's with a plan to give them to the homeless people that came to the store. Noble, why yes...however we have been waiting over an hour and the replacements have not arrived and now the current pepperoni pizzas are soggy and not even worth trying. We are starving and still no pizza. This process started at 6:40 and it is now nearly 9:00pm. Might be time to call Papa Johns.
Review Source:I shamelessly love Sarpino's. I don't order from here when I'm going gourmet, but it's my go-to for cheap, tasty, greasy and delicious pizza. I don't like the thicker crust (makes everything a little bland to me), so I adore all their special options. I always opt for thin crust - so much more flavor that way.
Not to mention the "Store Special" page - super cheap deals on group meals and single pizzas, plus a 15% coupon option on the checkout page. You can get a large pizza for under $12.
They let you order online, give a discount for ordering online and NOT having to talk to people on the phone, are super fast, and super friendly. I've not once been disappointed.
In the chain pizza category, I give Sarpino's high marks. Â I always order online and take advantage of the 15% discount they offer for online ordering (it's on the screen after you complete your order). Â Receiving confirmation via email that my order has been received and another one that the order is out for delivery is nice too. Â Pizza is always piping hot, sauce is tasty, and they are generous with their distribution of ingredients. Drivers have always been professional and say thank you. Very good chain serving non-Chicago-style pizza...not surprising Sarpino's has experienced mad growth.
