We've been here once and ordered three veggie sushi rolls. The vegetables were fresh, we were very happy. Ordered by phone and it was correct & fast. Will be back!

This was my first time here, so I'll come back a 2nd time before giving it 1 star, but this was a bad experience for me. I ordered the Maguro Sushi and the Salmon Sushi and it was sub par and had too much wasabi under the fish. The biggest reason for the negative review is that the Salmon Sushi had a piece of avocado on top, wrapped with a small piece of seaweed to keep it in place. I have never seen this before and it made me angry. I can't stand the tast of seaweed and order sushi/sashimi because I just want the bare minimum. I also don't really care for avocado on sushi, so I had to pick a part the salmon sushi which pretty much destroyed the pieces.

I HATE giving bad reviews, but am posting this just in case someone else feels this way, so be sure to ask for only the salmon and the rice on the Salmon Sushi.

As for the service, I thought they were really nice and I felt welcome. No complaints there.

My parents live up the street, so I'll be back and will give them another shot, but now I know to ask for the Salmon Sushi without the avocado.

This restaurant is really authentic. The food was very clean and tasty. We got there towards the end of the night and to watch the detail with which they put away and store all of the food is really encouraging as to the cleanliness and care that is taken for freshness. I had a variety of nigiri sushi that I designated (didn't order a "sushi special.") Every piece was delicious. My husband had tempura and NY Steak and it was also great. The salad and miso soup was excellent. We will definitely go back. They have **real crab** in their rolls and specify it on the menu (unlike the place across the street that advertises real crab but gives you white fish substitute and then attitude about it when you question it.)
