Shellback Tavern

Typical dive bar in downtown MB. Super close to the water. Loud and crowded on a Friday night, and probably would have been a fun place if I had had a few more drinks! I'd go back the next time I'm in the mood for a dive.

Cool little "divey" place right off the strand.  Relatively speaking and without being pretentious, it deserves 4 stars.  Good beer selection and the burger I had was very good.  The bartender was friendly and the service was good.  The prices were in line with the description.  This would be a great place to catch a late drink, some beers and a game, or lunch.  This is not the place you would take someone you are trying to impress, but if you are looking for an honest corner beach bar, this is it.

Bar food but great buffalo chicken sandwich and steak fries.  Top off with a Guinness and large screen projector and its a great on any given sunday.
