Beach Barcycle

This was a great way to drink with friends without worrying about driving from one location to the next. It's also a good way to burn off the calories you're taking in (assuming you can pedal...this barcycle was not height friendly!)

The 2 hour event started and ended at Hennessey's, where we got a 25% discount on all appetizers, $4 cocktails, and $3 beers. Make sure you arrive on time (or better yet, early). Because a few people in our group were pretty late, we didn't get to leave on time and ended up only going to two places. We barcycled from Hermosa down to On The Rocks in Redondo (where we also got discounts), stayed there for about 20 minutes, then barcycled back to Hermosa. We were able to get in on the specials for another hour at Hennessey's.

Although it was a lot of work just to get from one bar to another, I had a great time. It was fun going on the barcycle with everyone and passing by other people on the streets (or more like seeing other people pass us on their bikes or in their cars).
