Fat Face Fenner's Fishack

I'm with Eileen B.-- who found the food had somewhat rotted. I guess the folks who wrote nice things about the cuisine need to go back and see what happened since a year ago. Holy cow!. If all you can do is alcohol, then STICK WITH THAT!! Dont venture out into fish & chips if they are black & burnt on the outside & raw mush on the inside. If the artichokes and tomatoes on your "Big Salad" are MUSHY-- i dont mean a little-- I mean, right out of the garbage bin MUSHY-- dont serve it!! If your "cole slaw" is slimey & rancid-- ditto for your "chowder in a bread bowl"-- just don't serve it.

Pay attention now: Best tip you'll get all year: CLOSE DOWN YOUR KITCHEN. Shees!

My family and I just got done with a big beach bike ride & we were STARVING. Well, unless you are two steps from death, do not try to find edible food at Fat Face Fenner's. It is bizarre. It is surreal. It is a blot on Hermosa Beach-- & Boston, as well, per its theme...

We love all the other food down there-- Mexican, Greek, Japanese, Italian-- it's all terrific. But this place-- ewwy. Seriously. And a note to the waitress: you're sweet and we loved your service, & we tipped you well cuz we felt sorry you were stuck in such a miserable [so-called] restaurant. Now go find work somewhere else where you can serve actual-- umm-- FOOD!

This place serves their AMF drinks in smaller cups compared to other places i ave been to and each pour was on 4counts.  Amf cost about $9 ea.  the bartender hat helped my friends and i was lame.  he helped my friend and then skipped me til her helped 3 other people.  wth was that?  i would say don't let him pour for you but there were barely any bartenders pouring or nobody but him.  his name was Eyner on the receipt. Hispanic, Spanish speaker.  I drank 2 AMFs that night and was fine.  Says something about the pour (weak).

Overall, the dj played good music, there was plenty of space on the dance floor (some weirdos, some cool people), and at least one home decker in the crowd.  Was so disgusted... Also, cover was $5 that night. If you didn't bring cash ask the door guy to direct you to the nearest ATM.
