By far my favorite bar and place to hang out in all of Provincetown!
Jacob makes the best cocktails and always does so with a smile! Â The decor is very modern and cozy. Â On Easter, they put peeps on top of the martinis! Â So cute!
I love to relax on the outdoor patio next to the big firepit and socialize with my new made friends. Â Heaven.
While we didn't stay at the Brass Key this time, the Shipwreck Lounge was our home-base. Â Perfect atmosphere, great patrons, and our favorite bartender of this trip, Jacob. Â What an asset he is to Shipwreck! Â Personable and knew our names on our second visit (as well as our third, fourth, etc.). Â We intend to stay at Brass Key next visit, we were so impressed. Â Great drinks too.
Review Source:I'm not much of a "bar person" normally, but these guys are a class act. The first thing you need to know is it's a very "warm bar"... not dark and depressing like some other places. The staff is friendly and there is a large outdoor area with a water fountain and glass fire pit. Drinks are about average priced, but these guys are a class act that's hard to beat. Indoors there's couches, the occasional cat walking around, and a nice warm fireplace. Oober cozy.
Review Source:I love the Shipwreck for a drink or two after dinner but prior to going out dancing. The bartenders are consistently friendly and the drinks are well made.
The vibe is very much like being in someone's living room. It's dim but not too dark, with comfy furniture casually arranged around the space. I was there over New Year's, and a roaring fire and a twinkling Christmas tree just added to the ambience.
I agree with a previous reviewer that it empties out early, with most of the crowd streaming over to the A-House to dance.
I look forward to checking out their patio space next summer.
We are not big drinkers so don't look to any review I do for an insightful review of exotic drink specials.
We go here for a beer or a vodka tonic to hang with friends and check out the crowd. During the summer the back patio is great for this. New years found the place mobbed.
Crowd empties out by midnight.
