Review Source:I don't comment much on yelp. Unless it is really good, or really bad. This place deserves every single star for several reasons. A) the service is outstanding, I tried this place on a chance, based on yelp reviews, and from the start everyone who has ever taken my order is super kind, friendly, and make you feel like you've been going there for years. I have become a repeat customer because of this and B) their pizza is awesome! Don't be fooled by the location. Even though its tucked away in a part of streamwood that seems  little run down, with few businesses left, there is a reason this place is still standing. You can't beat the food, service, or prices anywhere! Give it a try! You won't be sorry!
Review Source:Slice Of Italy is by far my favorite place to get pizza or pasta.
Their food is excellent, their pricing is fantastic, and their delivery is quick. My only complaint is their limited hours.
I have used their catering over and over and have never been disappointed. Food always arrives warm and portions are excellent!
Wow, just, wow. Â A small, unassuming place in a small strip mall across the street from Chicago Loop that's only open Thursday thru Sunday. Â I always drive by & wonder how they're hours are so limited, well last night I found out. Â Their food is so good, they don't need to be open 7 days a week. Â We ordered a large thin half cheese half sausage pizza, an order of chicken strips with fries & garlic bread with mozzarella, which all came to under $20, which is unheard of. Â The pizza was amazing, very good sauce. Â Garlic bread was used with REAL bread, crusty, crunchy & delicious! Â Chicken strips were spot on, & were really cheap, only $3.95 with fries. Â Add the fact that it's family owned & operated just puts it over the top. Â You've earned a customer for as long as I'm in the area
Review Source:A Slice of Italy is a hidden gem in Streamwood. Â Hidden in a strip mall off Steamwood Bvd is the best family run pizza place I have ever been to. Â We have been customers for the past 4 years and have had most of the items on the menu. Â Everything is homemade and top quality, not to mention very tasty! Â The service is excellent. Â
It is a family run business by nice people who you can tell really care about their food. Â They are super friendly. Â I usually see Al & Gina who are the owners or Al's mother (the chef) who is the sweetest Italian lady I have met. Reminds me of my grandmother...
They treat you like a valued customer, which is rare for pizza places who usually have high school kids at the counter. Â
The pizza tastes better than the other pizza places in the area. Â The ingredients seem higher quality than the rest. Â The other menu items are all very good. Â
The prices are very fair and actually cheaper than other nearby pizzerias. Â I think the out of the way location keeps the prices down.
If you want real homemade Italian food made with care by real Italians, then A Slice of Italy is for you. Try it, you will like it.
They also do catering, which I haven't used yet. Â They would be my first choice next time I have a party.
