Well seeing that they ignored yet another message I left them on their voice mail telling them to take me off their spam promotional list... I had no other choice but to file a complain with the fcc... If you are going through the same problem as me which I saw some other Yelper complaining about. Heres a link.

The Social Group offers a variety of events at a few different clubs throughout OC. Review Source:just like John P, I have had the opportunity to work alongside and with The Social Group since 2004. I started working at Sutra in '04 when they opened and of all the nights I would recommend people to it was ALWAYS Social Groups Mondays and Thursdays.
Since then they have expanded and while they still do Sutra and my long time favorite Blue Beet for 80's night on Tuesdays, they are also doing Scotts on Thursdays which is where I like to spend my time, good DJ and dancing but also roomy enough to talk to people and socialize.
I've never had a bad time at one of their events and would definitely recommend to anyone to try out one of their nights. The negative comments have nothing to do with how they run things during the night, which to me is the most important.
some things to know-
-YES you might have to wait in line, BUT you get in for free if your on the guest list and inside before it closes(as does any other nightclubs list)
-dress nice, and bring girls with you.
They won't stop HARASSING ME!
They said they needed my phone number to let me in a night club/concert for free on the VIP list and now they won't stop texting me. I have requested many times to have them stop texting me. I did receive a few text messages saying they will remove me from their system, but then they text again. And they use a few different numbers. I have called them & text them, but they won't return my messages.
The Social Group have been throwing events for over 10 years in OC, LA, and Vegas. Â They specialize in the Orange County market and put together trend-setting events. Â Events range from nightclubs, pool parties, fashion shows, launch parties, concerts and more.
I've had the pleasure of knowing these guys since they began as promoters back in 1996. Â The list of venues and events is endless starting with the Wreck Room, Liquid Lounge, STATUS (the best of times), Blue Beet, the Pier, the Lodge, IVAR, Nacional, Mood, Day After (Hollywood), TAO, Detroit Bar, Tao Beach, LAX, Fury, Kantina and more.
I have also worked with them to coordinate events for some of my clients and have had excellent results. Â From awards banquets to industry events the Social Group came through and helped impress my VIP clients and guests.
Weekly Line-up:
Currently their weekly line-up consists of Tuesday 80's night at Blue Beet in Newport, Thursday at the all new CODE, Friday's at iLounge, and Saturday's at newly re-modeled Sutra.
Crowd:
A good mix of people (most OC clubs cater to a certain crowd, but I've found the best mix of people at Social Group events). Â Mostly upscale, mixed in your usual club attendee. Â Usally a good looking crowd. Â Celebrity sightings here and there. Â Girl to guy ratio is always good as well.
Music:
Social Group is responsible for bringing some of the top performers and DJ's in the country into Orange County. Â They have an eye for talent and help set the trends in the industry. Â
Performers like DJ AM, Mickey Avalon, Shwayze, Kid Cudi, and LMFAO were booked by them first. Â The top DJ's in the nation have spun at their events as well including: DJ Reflex (Power 106 / Kanye West), the World Famous Beat Junkies, Steve Aoki, DJ Fashen, Mix Master Mike, and the list goes on.
Music at their clubs is usually a healthy mix of hip-hop, Top 40, 80's, and electro / house.
Attire:
It is a club so dress to impress. Â Since most of the events are held in Orange County the dress code is a little more relaxed and t-shirts and sneakers are ok. Â
Bottle Service:
I do recommend bottle service for large parties as this always helps getting in and gives you place to sit. Â OC clubs are still cheaper than LA and Vegas.

- Arrive early
- Bring a group of girls
- Be on the guest list
- Don't forget your ID
- Be at least 21
- Have fun
