This is the first gay bar I've ever been to! We had already missed the drag show but there was still plenty of dancing late into the night! Everyone was all smiles and lots of fun. At one point during the rainy night a girl came in wearing a Tigger costume and no one batted an eye! I had a great time drinking and dancing with friends and strangers and for a hole in the wall, this made a good impression on me for what Evansville has to offer that's a little bit more alternative.
Review Source:A gay bar in southern indiana; what a concept.
It is kind of tragic but it all depends on what lens it is you're looking through. If you're living in indiana and have not experienced anything else it's not that bad. Though when you put it up against Apex in Washington or Vlada in New York it is quite tragic and should be demolished to make way for a new Crate & Barrell outpost.
The drinks are cheap and you will know EVERYONE and  if they dont know you/hate you they will creat fun gossip and pass it around evansville like some plague. There is a small cover somehow and there is a small dancefloor on the ground level. If you keep on walking back you will find a pool table, and extremely cruisy bathroom, and a patio out back which can be really nice. If you go right you will find a door and some stairs and make your way to the top to find one of the worse drag shows ever experienced in a 300 mile radius. They're all hideous and fat and think they're the next Leanne Rhymes.
The drinks are cheap and its kinda like Cheers where everyone knows your name. It can be a good and bad thing all wrapped into one.
