Update; I have since eaten and drank at the bar. Apparently they had 2 menus in the lounge, the bar menu and the lunch menu. I made the mistake of getting the pub menu which consisted of 3 sandwiches and 4 pizzas. Then the chef came out and said she didn't have any pizzas. At this point I didn't know I could order from the lunch menu and conceeding to ordering a mundane grilled chicken.
Go to the pub and get the dining room menu and don't make the mistake I made.
I was there on their 2nd night of being open. They pretty much had it together except for their worksheet-stapled menus. I can't quite find a website or phone number for the place as of yet.
The decor reminded me of a cottage with exposed ceiling rafters. I ordered La Isabelle with chicken, I could have this dish with veal as well. This dish was super spicy. It was prepared with chopped hot cherry peppers, prosciutto, onion, plum tomatoes and basil on top of 2 chicken breasts, sauteed with egg batter in a white wine sauce. Rigatoni with huge chunks of cooked tomatoes and more chopped prosciutto came on the side in a tiny dish. I managed to devour everything.
For dessert we had the tiramisu. The tiramisu came to the table and I could smell pumpkin and cinnamon. Super excited. The mascarpone was a super thick layer that had been mixed with pumpkin spices and the lady fingers weren't too soggy. Delicious.
I won't go back anytime soon. My dish was excellent but $19 and with veal $22. Sadly no left overs. I didn't feel compelled by the other dishes to return and try their free range lemon chicken, or penne a la vodka. The dinning room was fairly empty and I feel we should have been greeted by the manager.
