got a mailer at my door so I figured I'd give a local shot a place and avoid my standard Morettis. Â I ordered a large pizza and garlic bread for pickup. Â My first impressions on pickup were I hope I don't pick something up from this place as it looked pretty dirty. Â I pretty laid back but it really turned me off.
The pizza was average price but the crust tasted like cardboard, ,minimal sauce and minimal toppings. Â Alot of cheeze though. Overall not very flavorful and tasted along the lines of a frozen pizza. Â I give the Pizza a D rating.
What really  annoyed me was the $3 garlic bread I ordered  which was supposed to be 6 pieces was literally a 6" bun cut in 3.  I called and complained but they didn't seem to care and apparently this is how they've served it for 17 years.  I usually don't waste my time for $3 but it was purely the principle of the matter.   Â
I won't be back and will mention to all my buds in the neighborhood to avoid the place. Â First for me to be ripped off on garlic bread.
$2 slices. Â I've never ever seen anyone walk in. I've stopped by twice before and they didn't have slices, but were willing to make some. Â Couldn't wait. Â Locally there are two other quick stops for pizza slices, though this is the cheapest of the three and probably most in need of business.
Stopped in last evening for a quick bite, they had sausage and cheese slices available, same price. Â A few minutes to warm them and I was ready to eat. Â They must not expect or have many sit-in customers(mainly carryout), there is a table with two chairs. Â Condiments and napkins; you have to request and that requires a walk to the back of the store for the counter person. Â Slices were conveniently packed in aluminum foil with a strip of plastic wrap over the top of the slice, so that when you unwrap the cheese doesn't stick to the foil. Â (How thoughtful) Â The slices were chewy and cheesy. Â You could see a hint of sauce, but, not any taste of any. Â I like sauce ALOT, so, the slices were of no appeal. Â I won't be coming back. Â For the four dollars I dropped there hoping to help out a family owned place, I might of better spent my food money on pizza slices around the corner or a spicy chicken sandwich at Wendy's just east of here.
