They have a sign that says you can't use the bathroom, but they'll let you use it if you ask, and are very friendly. Â The service was good and as well as fast, which is EXTREMELY unusual for Subways in Chicago. Â They didn't do anything weird or give attitude, ete. Â I had to only give it four stars, becase, it's still Subway, it's still ridiculously expensive even when you only buy the specials, and the $2 sub is cold cuts which is prety gross, I think they include bologna or something. Â But that of course is not this restaurant's fault; if you are going to go to subway in Chicago, go here. Â (And yes, it is better then several Subways in normal locations as well.)
Edit: I went in at night. Â The below person must have gone in during the day, and that makes sense because she had some extremely rude dickhead who must be the same person who put those ridiculous, disgusting signs on the bathrooms. Â Even though she wrote the review in 2010, one of the friendly people I saw was the same man I saw there in at least 2009, I remembered him tellin me you can ask to use the bathrooms and that's why I did it. Â So I would assume, if you're going to go to Subway in chicgo AT NIGHT, thn go here.
Also, you can recieve a weak wiFi signal from Dunkin Donuts next door. Â Since the signal is weak enough to disconnect you on your device (although it never goes out enough that you can't immediatly reconnect), I did not put 'yes" on the Wifi qustion.
Ok who writes a review for subway? This girl because I can't resist  this is just that ridiculous. I went in with my friend to get a healthy sandwich because subway is a chain so the standard sandwiches are all basically the same.
It was not the food but the service on TWO occasions. The blonde woman who made my sandwich paid ZERO attention to anything I asked her put on. She just threw anything on but I accepted it. I told her if I can have the giardiniera peppers and literally a second later she asked did you wanna try these peppers they are really hot? (Maybe she didn't hear me?)
ME: yes please
HER: well I'll only put on a little
ME: Â that's ok, I would like a lot please
HER: shakes her head....She then offers me guacamole and it was brown (as guacamole does turn brown) and I said no thanks...she shakes her head again
HER: oil and spices?
ME: *reluctant*...no thanks
HER: shakes her head...again...like I did something wrong by saying no....She then proceeded to glare at me as my friend and I ate our food.
That would be the Second time I was treated like GARBAGE there....First time I went I got a flat bread sandwich and when they asked if I wanted it to be heated I said no thanks and he said the bread will not be soft. I said that's alright I don't need it heated...And the guy says "You're the one who has to eat it so if it tastes bad it's your fault"....Really subway by Jefferson Park? really?...I SHAKE MY HEAD AT YOU CAUSE YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG!
