Tried this place at 930a on a weekday. Â Not very busy, only a few people lounging, the place looked cool and rustic, they had pour-over setups in the window that attracted me inside. Â However...
The room was about 80 degrees; too hot to sit inside, especially with hot coffee. Â We ordered an (already) grilled ham sandwich from an unrefrigerated case that was served at room temperature (unsafe and unlawful.) Â The espresso shots poured at about 10 seconds and were served (should be double that time for proper flavor.) Â The extremely expensive coffee (16oz for 3.25) was watery and bland, probably from barista error.
The kids that worked there were very nice, but they didn't seem to have much to work with.
