  Have I mentioned that I love dive bars?? Well this is one you should stop into.  Ask for John, he is a great bartender and will keep ya laughing all night long.  It's kind of hidden so keep a watchful eye out as soon as ya hit Center Ridge intersection.

  A Rocky River institution, The Door has survived the corporate take over of Center Ridge Road. It remains a dive bar even under different ownership.
  
  I remember sneaking inside as a kid and, for some reason, I was convinced the floor was made of gravel and, who knows, in the nineties it may have been. Today you can expect a regular floor, darts, cheap pitchers, hot bar nuts and, swoon, a vintage bar bowling machine that consumed an entire summer of my life in 2007.
  
  I will never tire of walking to this place when visiting my parents on Ohio. Unless I sober up but thats not happening soon.

  This local gem sponsors my Kick ball Team, so i might be slightly biased... BUT they have decent drink prices, always have a couple craft brews on tap plus Great Lakes bottles in stock, And the best part...
  
  Their 50/50 HALF BACON HALF Ground Beef BURGERS!  I havent found this anywhere else yet and I consider myself a Bacon Aficionado.  The burger is delicious and comes with Cajan Fries.  If you want other fares, they have good specials just about every day.

  Do you like dive bars with a cool beer selection? Do you like puck bowling mixed with skee-ball? Do you like randomly finding art on the wall that your grandfather painted? (seriously that happened to my friend) Then you have found the right place. Swinging Door is super casual and fun place to grab a beer, watch a game and hang out.
