Our party of four from out of town wandered in for dinner based on the Yelp reviews. Â We were not disappointed! Â "Sweet potato waffle, kale pesto-sauteed mushrooms and Melted grueyre" Â So, so good. Â The service was excellent and witty. Â Travel doesn't often take me to Denver, but this will be a future stop for sure. Â Note: we dined early on Friday, but had we come in later, I'm not sure we would have had a table. Â A reservation would probably be advisable.
A wonderful establishment with a homey feel, tasty food and friendly service located in a quite city neighborhood near downtown Denver. Tables offers a seasonal menu with ample selections that will appeal to various preferences and appetites. Our group of three ordered the two Laramie sirloins and duck which were both cooked to order and perfectly delicious. Interestingly, the waitress said that the rancher who raised the cow, (which caused a little introspective thought and makes for a unique view on "my sirloin steak") was sitting at the bar. I started to approach him, but wasn't sure what to say... "Howdy partner, your cow tasted great!" No matter how the conversation flowed I thought it would be a little weird and on the verge of slightly creepy. Anyway, Tables is well worth the visit and the next time in Denver will be back. Reservations recommended.Review Source:
