Thai Pastry

This place is easily the best Thai place in Chicago, just go it is worth the trip no matter where you live! Had many of the dishes and they are great, consistent and a great depth of flavor. Meat is cooked perfectly, very tender.

The Kang-Som Mix Veggie Shrimp is a great new item on the menu - quite spicy vegs and shrimp in a spicy delicious broth. I recommend eating it with brown rice.!
The menu has been redone and there are quite a few new items.
The decor is very pleasant and clean.  In winter, the restroom is freezing and the water is always icey cold, but quite clean.
The service is very good.
Food is very fresh and made to order, so expect a wait.
BYOB and credit cards are accepted.
Parking is available in the strip mall lot or on the street and is easy to find.
They do deliver, and do carry out.
I highly recommend Thai Pastry.

I LOVE Thai Pastry. It really is a hidden gem of Uptown. They waitresses are so sweet and helpful. Since I'm a vegetarian, they are very flexible with the preparation of my meals. Some of my favorites are the egg rolls, pad thai, pad see eiw, and pumpkin curry. Not to mention the bubble tea (it tastes so fresh) and their delicious pastries, of course. It is seriously one of my favorite places to eat and I highly recommend it.
