16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro

The single only restaurant in all of Westfield where the food and service are consistently great. No failing electronic systems and drinks that don't show up for 20 minutes because someone missed a ticket or saw it late. Your waitress goes and gets your drink immediately. It makes a difference! The food is tasty and fun. The potato wedges appetizer is our favorite. Great all night hang with friends!

I often develop an urge for Seafood gumbo with shrimp, lobster, crawfish, lump crab & Andouille sausage over basmati rice and must admit that until last night, have never tried anything else on their menu.  Add a glass, or two of their tasty house merlot, sit back and enjoy some live jazz all makes for a great evening.  Do not get an urge, as they are closed on Mondays.  

Well yesterday I decided to try their macaroni & cheese with smoked bacon.  Asiago, Fontana, English cheddar, green pepper.  WOW it was very cheesy and wonderful.  Caution, it is very hot when served.  Last night they also had a guest comedian (just kidding) I overheard someone claim "can you believe they don't have draft beer" Am I mistaken, or is this not a "wine bar" PS they do have a good selection of bottled beers and a full service bar.  

I always enjoy their friendly service and casual atmosphere.   I find that parking is usually an issue.  The train station lot a block away usually works.

Great blues band on Wednesdays. Great people and good food.
