The Gyoza was good but I think the edamame was a little under cooked / steamed. Â I had some unagi (eel) sushi and a salmon skin roll and that was okay too. Â I got a bottle of cold sake from the liquor store next door as well - that was super-convenient. Â My friend had the chicken teriyaki and she liked it - she only ate half of it and had the rest packed to go. Â They also have all-you-can-eat sushi, which has a 2 hour minimum and they charge you for what you don't eat, which is typical...
Review Source:If I had a dollar for everytime I ate here.... Well I'd have a lot of dollars.
Never dissappointed. Â Fish is always fresh, staff is friendly, service is prompt. Â Decor is a little dated but then again its a sushi place. Â They name rolls after you if you come up with something unique enough to land on their menu. Â Defintively try the "sushi sandwich". Â Its a BYOB so bring some sake and go nuts. Â There is a bit of a wait at times but it is well worth it.
Really good sushi place. They have an excellent roll selection. When I lived in New Jersey, this was definitely my go-to sushi place. They have some really great menu items and also have an all you can eat sushi for a little over $20! Not a bad deal.
When I used to go there I would typically order a raw sushi item and a tempura roll with sashimi (which is raw fish on a slab of rice), and miso soup, all items were spectacular.
Haven't been there in a few years but as I said, very solid place especially for the location! Still some of the best sushi I have had.
