Theresa's Restaurant

What a gem in the heart of Westfield. The food is quite delicious and I love that it is BYOB. It is lovely to sit outside when the weather is beautiful and see the hustle of the town. Risotto of the day and the rice lollipops are a must have.

It was a cold Sunday evening and I found myself in Westfield needing a bite to eat.  Based on Yelp reviews, I ducked into Theresa's seeking food and shelter.  We were greeted by a friendly face and seated right away.  The ambiance was right up my alley, dimly lit and casual, but not too casual.    

We checked out the menu and there was a decent number of dishes that sounded good.  I ordered the short ribs and rate the dish about 5 stars out of 10.  It was not filled with flavor, same goes for the mashed potatoes and veggies.  My wife's dish was more flavor full than mine.  I just tried to look at the menu on-line to reference her meal, but the website is not working correctly.  That's too bad because to me, a website makes such an impression that it should not have broken links.  

The bathroom at Theresa's is incredibly dated and not too clean.  I know that many restaurants strike out when it comes to bathroom decor and cleanliness, but there are also many smaller pizza joints and such that make a more market effort to create a nicer bathroom.  Details people!

Service was good, food was OK, ambiance for me was right on.  I'd go back, but it couldn't be my fave spot unless they improved upon certain things.
