It was a cold Sunday evening and I found myself in Westfield needing a bite to eat. Â Based on Yelp reviews, I ducked into Theresa's seeking food and shelter. Â We were greeted by a friendly face and seated right away. Â The ambiance was right up my alley, dimly lit and casual, but not too casual. Â Â
We checked out the menu and there was a decent number of dishes that sounded good. Â I ordered the short ribs and rate the dish about 5 stars out of 10. Â It was not filled with flavor, same goes for the mashed potatoes and veggies. Â My wife's dish was more flavor full than mine. Â I just tried to look at the menu on-line to reference her meal, but the website is not working correctly. Â That's too bad because to me, a website makes such an impression that it should not have broken links. Â
The bathroom at Theresa's is incredibly dated and not too clean. Â I know that many restaurants strike out when it comes to bathroom decor and cleanliness, but there are also many smaller pizza joints and such that make a more market effort to create a nicer bathroom. Â Details people!
Service was good, food was OK, ambiance for me was right on. Â I'd go back, but it couldn't be my fave spot unless they improved upon certain things.
