Turning Point of Westfield

Okay. Just okay. I came to Turning Point several months ago after having gone to the Hoboken and Long Branch locations and being VERY impressed. Sadly, the Westfield location just lacks something.  The food is ok. The service is ok. For what you get, it is a little pricey.

What a great place. We headed over on a Sunday morning around 9 am and there was no wait.  We ordered the Hawaiian Kona coffee in a French press, so good and worth the $8.00 price tag.  Our cups came with a piece of rock candy to use instead of sugar.  Thoughtful touch.  I ordered the Bananas Foster waffle which was very good.  As my chef fiancé said, the place was like having dinner service at breakfast.  The lunch sandwiches also sounded delicious and they have free WI-FI as well.  We really enjoyed our breakfast.

Surprised this place only has 3 stars! To calm fears of bad service, we had a great experience during brunch. Our waitress was super attentive, and even dealt with my back-and-forth over what to order. I ended up with the huevos rancheros on her recommendation, and could not have made a better choice! Took it home as a leftover and it was great later too! I also enjoyed my berry smoothie.
