soooo disappointing, kinda scary in fact, and the animal hairs in our sandwiches ruined it completely. (I'm totally serious, this really happened!)  Saturday afternoon, hot, sunny, rare for our area.  We were set to enjoy an afternoon of beer, sandwiches, relaxation.  Alas, we spent far too much time driving around for a "unique" bar and grill, passing by Buzz's (mistake... but their beers are 4.50 and their parking lot potholes nearly did in my small car) - backtracking led us to the 2 Mile House.  First red flag, parking lot completely empty (though nicely paved).  Soooo... why was Buzz's so packed with outrageous beer prices and this place empty with "specials" (we had called in advance and this woman raved over the phone about their food and drink specials). We should have paid attention to the lack of customers.  There was a real reason for that.

They don't have any specials!  You want specials, you gotta be neighbors with the wait staff (number of two) I guess.  She pretty much fibbed over the phone to get us in.  But we were starving and not wanting to drive to a third bar, we gave in and ordered.

Their cheapest beer was Coors Lite for 3.25 - not very special but it was cold so okay.  Their happy hour begins at 3, and if we could have stayed, it might have been "special" then.

The service here is so terrible we simply couldn't justifying lazying away another hour till the happy hour hit.  We were seriously the ONLY people in the place.  Only our table was filled.   But we had to ask for another beer, we had to ask for the check more than once.  We were ignored the entire time we were in there until we specifically either went up to the bar or waved.  The two staff  visited in the kitchen mostly the entire time we were there.

Everything we asked for was largely ignored.  We thought maybe some music would liven up the place but she ignored our request to turn up the jukebox which was drowned out by the highway noise that is loud!  We asked for dollar change to be able to play the jukebox and you'd think we'd asked her to pay for it herself!  Grudgingly made change.  Clearly didn't want us playing music as we then couldn't hear what we played anyway and she didn't turn it up.

We split a club sandwich, they brought it on two plates with some pretty good hand cut fries.  The sourdough bread was all dried out (even before it was toasted) so it was pretty crunchy and dry to try to eat it.  We gave it a good shot, (the tomatoes were wonderfully fresh) until we both found long white animal hairs in each of our half of the sandwich.  We didn't want to bring it up, these are some scary people working there, so we just stopped eating it after about a half sandwich each, and tried to keep our food down best we could with the nausea created by the hairs.  Gross!

Never again and please give this one a pass.  Maybe it will close due to lack of customers and someone else can buy the building and create a really great pub in this location.  The parking lot deserves some cars in it as it is paved very nicely.

this place?  YUCK, and horrible service.

Went there last night with the hub and a pal, wasn't disappointed. The bar tender was super friendly and helpful, and the noise level wasn't overwhelming- even when it got busy. Much more chill than downtown.
