Sat for 15 mins. no service and the place was probably about 1/4 full. There were 3-4 servers and two hostesses and not one said "have you been helped?" After a newly sat table got helped first we got up and left. No one noticed that either! Too many restaurants to waste time with one with bad service.
Review Source:We ended up going here instead of the adjacent 45th Street Taphouse bar and grill (different menus) because I ran into the manager standing out front and I was able to get first round of drinks for free. Â Was REALLY nice of the manager!
When we walk in, 1:30pm on a Saturday middle of Summer the place is empty. Â This worried me right away but I shrugged it off as Saturday turnover day for people who rent by the week.
I got a crab sandwich which was good. Â Huge crab cake.
Another person got a hot dog, big beef frank. Â Below average.
Another got the spicey BBQ wing and liked them a lot.
Another got steamed shrimp and cream of crab soup. Â The cream of crab soup was real bad. SALTY. Â They bring another, second one is barely warm and almost as bad. Â Like it came from a freezer.
The shrimp were really hard to peel and almost had a non-fresh look to them but they were enjoyed.
I also got the rosemary Parmesan old bay fries and really enjoyed them.
The beer selection was real good and enjoyed that. Â Service was good, but hard not to be when empty. Â
So it's a mixed review. Â Some good things some not so good. Â Perfect location/view though and if you go safe (wings bar type food) its hard to go wrong.
