I've only been here once with an ex. I had the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. It was amazing. I don't remember what she had. I don't really care either. That soup thoughhhhh. It was that good.
I also had a couple of the Korean tacos. I wasn't crazy about it. BUT THAT SOUP!
I will be back one day.
I don't know why I took so long to write a review for this place but now is as good a time as any! What can I say? I am in love with the Korean Tacos.
Situated along the same street as quite a few other restaurants offering oriental fare, Â this one manages to stand out by offering some more unique dishes that you wouldn't even find paging through the massive menu at Joy Yee next door. My first visit garnered my absolute adoration of the aforementioned tacos, and the following several visits only added more dishes to my list of favorites, most of which included kimchee in some form. I will say I was surprised by seeing sweet potato fries on the menu, but they are actually ridiculously good; the best I have had since my favorite hot dog stand closed. I would probably come here just for those.
In any case, worth several return visits. A recent favorite but a new regular spot for me in Evanston.
