I ordered take-out the other night and I was incredibly disappointed. The Jerusalem Salad was completely doused in a sauce, making it completely unauthentic and drastically cutting down on the amount of the actual salad. They put way too much olive oil and the hummus- we actually had to pour a good amount off. The falafels were good though- great flavor and and nice and crisp on the outside. I'm guessing the food is better if you eat in  but I don't care to find out because I was sick the next morning.
Review Source:I've always wanted to try this place... Been living in downtown Evanston for the past 2.5 years but never ventured inside. Finally visited a few days ago, and I enjoyed their food! Ordered a spicy chicken pita pocket as well as a pizza. The pizza was okay - decent, but nothing too special. However, I really enjoyed my pita pocket! The sauce was good, they were generous with the chicken, and the price was really good! (filled me up for around $6). Will be back to try some other dishes!
Review Source:Incredible value, warm, mouth-watering homemade food, extremely friendly staff. What more can you want??
I've been here more times than I can count, and I love it every time I go. The wait staff are so friendly that they recognize me and know some of my typical orders. The food is healthy and authentic and doesn't leave you with that gross bloated feeling that restaurants frequently give a person. Also, BYOB. Definitely a must!!
