I always tell my friends you really can't go wrong with any sandwich from Rollin' To Go. If you have never tried a sandwich at this place, I recommend the Al Forno or Country Club (if you like spicy food), Chicken Caesar, Made Man (barbeque sauce), Classico (vegetarian) and Meatball (if you don't like chicken). You also have the option of creating your own sandwich, but being the busy Northwestern student I am, I just always go for the menu items instead.
Home made chips are 50cents extra, but totally worth it. Just wish they gave out more chips than just 8-10 pieces. Haven't tried and don't plan on trying the soup because I am not a soup person, but I'm pretty sure there are other reviews that talk about it.
Came here one windy and snowy afternoon looking for some warmth and filling food. Â Originally went to Al's Deli but found it to be too cramped to be comfortable to sit and eat so I headed next door for my first experience at Rollin' To Go. An entire chalkboard of at least 20 different sandwiches (all around $7-$8) and some unidentifiable but delicious aroma of food assailed my senses.
My friend had the Chicken Parmesan Sandwhich while I got a special #1 that had portebella mushrooms, chicken, roasted red peppers, bbq sauce, and some type of hot pepper on it. I was hesitant at first but love trying "specials" so I took a risk - very worth it. Typically, I'm not someone who really enjoys sandwiches (cuz I typically feel like I can make it myself from home) but this one was delicious. All the ingredients along with the fresh bread worked perfectly. The cherry on top was their homemade chips (for an extra $1) that had a bit of a cajun kick and had a nice crisp crunch as perfect chips should have.
