I know this isn't a fancy schmancy kind of a place but that is the exact reason why I always feel like walking to this bar when I feel like a drink or some human interaction. I had a conversation with the owner who seems like a really cool guy. The draft selection is pretty decent and they offer Jello shots late night at a discount on weekends. The bar menu is very reasonably priced and food is served until midnight even on a Sunday. There is a pool table and although it is a small joint they have made good use of the space so there's plenty of room to sit. This is a good bar if you are younger and looking to meet or talk to people. Music can be a tad loud for my taste sometimes but It's not enough to keep me away!

My hubby and I live in Malden and have never been to this bar - crazy right. It was st pattys weekend and we were lookin for a local place to grab a quick drink and head back home to our kids. We got there around 8ish and of course there weren't many folks there. I take it all 5 of the ppl there were regulars. there was one guy was at the bar maybe in his 60's or so and he was extremely friendly - unlike most maldeneers. he and my husband started chatting up about the game on tv and were instant buddies. the guy even ordered a pizza and offered us some. although we didn't talk to much to the bartender, she seemed to have a really cool personality and knew her drinks lol. we would really like to go back during high tide hours to check out that scene. will mos def be back.

Very accommodating! This was my first time in. The bartender was extremely informative and offered suggestions to myself and my friends. I will absolutely be back!
