Abe's & Tommie's Carry Out

Abe and Tommies is one of the best neighborhood grease joints in the Austin area. The waiting area is pretty small and gets crowded during lunch time, so sometimes movement can be very limited. Overall the food is good, I've tried almost everything but I'm a fan of their polish and steakburgers. My mom always order their beef sandwiches or combination, both are very good dipped lightly with peppers. The prices are not bad, but you have to speak up to get waited on so don't be shy. You will notice everyone that frequent this place will be serviced immediately by the cooks. If you're on a diet or a weight watcher,,,beware. I've been eating from this place since childhood, well of course I'll say their food is good so go check them out for yourselves yelpers.
