Applebee's

Walked in about 6:20 on a Wednesday and it wasn't very busy, there were a lot of open Booths and tables. They had at least 5 servers that I saw and 2 hostesses. I saw the Manager Brandon who didn't even acknowledge us either. We ended up walking out after our "10 minute" wait ended up being more close to 20. The hostesses gave me the feeling like they didn't know what they were doing. We ended up eating at the Diner down the street that actually wanted our business. I never write reviews like this, but I feel like other people should know.

I'm not big on the lunch/dinner menu at Applebee's.  They take regular food and try to spice it up too much.  On this particular visit my daughter tried the ribs but they were too peppery and she didn't finish them. I had the fried shrimp but then again, I know what to stick with here.  I usually opt for the chicken tenders which are very good.  

The desserts are awesome!

I have always had great service at Applebee's so that' why I gave them three stars instead of two.  I also like their 2 for $20 and 2 for $24 specials.

Went there last Saturday night around 9:00.  Waited at the front door for over 5 minutes before the hostess showed up - that should have been a sign to leave.  When she finally came the first thing she said (no hello or welcome) was "it'll be 5-10 minutes". Even though we could see empty tables all around.  We said, how about those - pointed to 2 tables  right in front of us.  She said "the waitress in that section already has 3 tables so it'll be at least a 10 minute wait.  We said fine, we just want to sit down.  Terrible customer service.

After sitting, our waitress came by after about 5 minutes and said, "Oh, nobody told me you were here."  She was adequate although the service was much slower than in other Applebee's.  The server never came back to ask how our food was, so we finished.  The food was typical - not great but not terrible.  

I used to be a regular at Applebee's in my previous hometown, but never again here.  Worst customer service I've had in any restaurant for a long time.
