I order from here almost every Friday night when I'm too tired to cook and want some good food fast. Â They will make your pizza to order (if you want it well done or extra thin crust), they have gluten free crust and the salads are especially delicious. I recommend the Gorgonzola and Caesar. The guys are friendly and they listen.
Review Source:My favorite place to order delivery in Greenwich. Actually, I've never ordered delivery from anywhere but Arcuri's. I almost always get their eggplant parmesan because it's so good! I always get it with an order of spaghetti as well. The dinner salad is nothing special but it's a good addition. And the dinner rolls! They are a pretty generous size and they're delicious. The pizza is good, but nothing special. They have a lot of options though.
If you're looking for a delivery option in Greenwich, Arcuri's is definitely the way to go. Really speedy (max 30 minutes, if not less) and large portions for a good price.
Anytime I'm back in Greenwich, this is a must go-to place while I'm visiting. Usually it's either the first or last night, but I have to go. Â Arcuri's offers delicious food, fast service, great prices, large portions, and friendly service. Â
It's a bit cramped inside, so I recommend taking out. Â I really can't wait to go back to Greenwich again just to get another pie here.
My office orderes lunch (and sometimes dinner) from here almost every day. Their salad/bread combo are a GREAT work lunch. Big portions and the bread is always fresh and warm. They are known for their salads and they SHOULD be , because they have a great variety, unlike most italian local places. My favorite is the O'conner, if you like spice :) Only reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 was because my co-workers chicken was pink today..and I am not a fan of their pizza!!
Review Source:Good pizza here at a pretty reasonable price. We always get the supreme which tastes great piping hot and just as good for leftovers the next day. We also always save the little coupons on the top of the boxes (buy 10, get 1 free) and we've redeemed them several times in the past couple years! Pretty good delivery and customer service, and their garlic knots are the bomb.
Review Source:This place has been a family favorite for super long -- even when Bella Nonna opened (and closed) across the street, this was still our number one place to go! Â The garlic knots are awesome, the 'everything' pizza (the works?) is great -- with a crust that doesn't get floppy even after having that many toppings on it! Â
Legit, these guys are great. Â Service is outstanding!
My whole office orders from here regularly, and with 11 people, Arcuri's makes a daily delivery, even if it's just one order! They do not set pesky minimums; you will just pay an extra $2 which might be worth it on a day your swamped with work and can't get out. The food here is exceptional in every way. The salads are very fresh, and they serve a generous portion of grilled chicken. My favorite salad so far is the Generations, with grilled chicken, roasted peppers, artichokes, avocado, and fresh mozzarella. Add a side of the addictive garlic knots and you're set! The caprese pizza was fresh and delish, but the plumb tomatoes watered it down. Try the zeppoles! We like to share the order of 8, to lessen the guilt (and the calories!) Â My co-workers rave about the sandwiches as well. Arcuri's is always busy, but the impressive part is that the workers can multi-task without messing up a special request (no carrots, croutons, or dressing, extra chicken), and the wait is surprisingly short despite the crowd. We even catered the Christmas party here and the eggplant rollatini was close to home-made.
Review Source:Had some friends over...
Gotta say overall not as satisfied as the first few times.
Pizza (pepperoni): the pizza seems to get worse each time. Â Hard dry crust, cheese not fresh...pretty bad. Frozen pizza quality (2/5)
Garlic knots: still great (4/5)
Jalapeño poppers: just standard (3/5)
Eggplant parm: my favorite (4/5)
Bottom line: everything seems decent here BUT the PIZZA! Â That's not a good sign for a pizza joint.
Overall (3/5)
DELICIOUS! Â I am still coming off my high from the California salad. Â It was so good! Â I ordered a small, but could have easily stuffed my face with a large. Â Probably better for my husband and me that I didn't.
The roll was tremendous. Â I was lamenting the fact that I didn't get a garlic roll to accompany my salad when a yummy roll came tumbling out of my bag. Â Just enough crunch on the outside and soft and inviting on the inside. Â I was so sad when I consumed the last perfect bite. Â
The pizza looked really good. Â Will certainly have to go back on a cheat day.
Service was fast and extremely friendly, which is out of the ordinary for these parts.
Go get some!
I can cook my butt off, but I still eat here 3+ times per week. Actually, I've been known to eat here 5 days a week, sometimes twice a day. My problem in general is that I go to a place and there's usually only 1 thing I like there, but at Arcuri's, most everything I've had there was phenomenal.
Fred is right on with the California salad. It's really delicious, but all of their salads are. Â Lately I'm all about the Manhattan salad (lettuce, roasted peppers, trio of olives, artichokes, croutons, and more...) and their pizza is excellent. They adjust the thickness of the crust depending on the toppings. How great is that??? On top of that, the staff there is SO friendly and great and it's always a pleasure to see them. There's practically no employee turnover there, which really says a lot. The menu is quite extensive. They have wraps, sandwiches, pizza, salad, pasta dishes, entrees, and some pretty yummy desserts. I really can't say enough about this place. There aren't very many seats, so plan on take-out or delivery.
For now, Arcuri's is my go to pizza joint in Greenwich. Â The pie is very good. Â The crust is fairly thin & has a nice crisp to it. Â The sauce is balanced and they put a bit more on than your average place, which I like. Â They are more than generous with the toppings & cheese, which can not be said for many of the other pie joints in Greenwich.
The salads are also very good. Â They are fresh and full of excellent ingredients. Â My personal favorite is the California, with baby spinach, avocado, cherry tomatoes, gorgonzola, pine nuts, croutons & golden raisins..plus their top notch house balsamic vinagerette.
I have never been one to order calzones, strombolis or pastas from a pizza joint but I hear those are also very good.
Finally, the thing that pushes these guys over the top is their pleasant handiwork on the phone. Â Many places are rushed on the phone. Â At Arcuri's they will take the time to read you the menu or remind you of salad ingredients. Â Gotta love that! Â Give em a try if you haven't!!!
