So, I've done several reviews on Yelp & have never said this before, if I could give this place less than 1 star I would! This place may need a "bar rescue". Not for the food or decor but something really amiss with management. I promise I will NEVER give this establishment another single dollar of mine!
I just met a friend at the AZ lounge, we ordered a pitcher reasonably priced & good service so I decided I would reciprocate & ordered another pitcher & 3 shots (Pinnacle Vodka & energy drink) which on this evening ,Pinnacle Flavored Vodka, was being offered at $5.00 a shot. When I got my bill I noticed there was a charge of $4.50 for the energy drink, hmmm. I asked the bar tender & he said he was just doing his job. So I asked for the manager & expressed my discontent, first that if there was a $1.50 per shot surcharge we should have been notified & second I frequent bars at which this is an Ancillary expense (the $5.50, & yes I know I said $5.50 now cause that was the new cost & not what their chalk board advertised, should cover mixers i.e. tonic, water, cike, etc). The manager came out & I expressed my position & instead of maybe doing something to correct the situation told me how "expensive" energy drink is, WTF? IDGAF how much coke, water, electricity, etc costs you! I asked him if he was aware of the current econimic situation going on in the USA & followed that they are lucky to have loyal patrons. People could just stay home & save a lot of $. He didn't seem to be phased by this & basically blew me off. So over $4.50 worth of energy drink I will NEVER support this joke of a business & I am asking all my OB friends to give management here a reason to realize that the customer is always right. My hope is not they go out of business but maybe that this particular asshole winds unemployed & how much he needs US for him to have a job! Thanks. I have also posted this on Facebook (since this was an experience that I would see on Restaurant Steakout or Bar Rescue or some shit! Owner's of AZ lounge, if that's the management style you support I sincerely hope you just shut the doors. I would never lose a customer & his many friends over $5, good riddance!
