Jake's on 6th A Wine Bar

Came here on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday. I didn't realize the food they had were mostly appetizers, but they were good!

I split a Pesto Bruschetta with a friend and it was just what I wanted when I had ordered it. Just don't get this if you're on a date because of the garlic haha. Also tried a bite of the Fresh Tomato Bruschetta (I prefer the pesto) and the Smoked Salmon Panini, which were both good as well.

Even though this was a wine bar, I was more in the mood for beer that night. They have a pretty good selection of beers and since it was Thursday, all bottles were half off! (Drafts are $4 on Thursdays.) I'll have to come back another time and actually get some wine. Saw they had a wine flight, which I'll have to try too!

We were a large group, but the person helping us didn't mind splitting up the tab. I just told her what I had ordered and she gave me my own check.

This place is really.cute.SO CUTE! It's really pretty and I like that there's the bar area then some tables, couches, a patio...great options!

They have good happy hour deals, which I would highly recommend! Their selection of wine, food, even beer is impressive. The service isn't really notable either for good or bad reasons, which is fine by me.

We got a couple meat and cheese boards, the cheese sticks (ahem...so deceiving. This isn't fried cheese! It's like a grilled cheese. Highly addictive, some say!), and some wine and beer all around.

Good food, good friends, good drinks at a nice place makes for a great night! Jake's on 6th bodes good memories, and I am a fan!

Absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere and intimate vibe here. I came on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to find it so light with patrons. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, they know there wines! The live music by Emily was soothing and really set the tone in the bar. Needless to say, I'll be back! New favorite bar for sure!!!
