I went here Saturday night with my boyfriend to celebrate our recent engagement and invited anyone to stop by and join us. There martinis are amazing, especially for dessert lovers and it only takes one or two to feel their strength.
Martinis Above Fourth apparently is trying to remake their image to appeal to a younger crowd. There is a new logo on the sign and words like "lighter and fresh" are used to describe it. There was a definitely a younger crowd when we got there, but the live music was still reflective of someone from 30 years ago. Don't get me wrong, I love live music and I don't mind if it is a bit older in feel, but the mismatch was evident of the music with the new TVs and decor.
Additionally, it was a great place for people to stop by and toast to our engagement, so I really do appreciate the space and the drink selection! Unfortunately, our waiter was a very rude. He was big cut around 11pm and promptly told us to close out our checks and go to the bar for more drinks. A bus boy walked by and echoed the same sentiment. This was really off putting. We moved to a closer table to the bar, but I don't understand the point of trying to develop a younger vibe but to say it is self serve only after 11pm.
I have mixed feelings because I really do love the layout and drinks of martinis, but there is definitely work to be done with the cohesiveness and wait staff.

This was my third visit to MAF, all of which have been for happy hour. The staff is always very friendly and provide great service. The martini menu is extensive and the cocktails are strong, too.
This was our first experience of the new, easier happy hour where all food and drink  $10 or less is $2 off and all food and drink more than $10 is $3 off. More options are available now, I believe and it's much easier to figure out what kind of savings you'll be getting.
I have yet to experience a regular meal here, but the happy hour is definitely on my list of return visits.
