Mosaic Wine Bar

Pros,
1.  Very nice environment, great place to enjoy a drink and some finger food.
2.  The service is great and the employees are very helpful and friendly.

Cons,
1.  They offer many IPAs but NO San Diego varieties, this is unacceptable!
2.  They do not accept American Express, even Jack In The Box accepts American Express!  Let's be realistic folks!

I love wine & wine bars, with that being said, I really wanted to like this place!
Pros:  Decent selection of wine & sold at retail with a low corking fee, it has an open patio for fresh air & the bathroom was very clean.  They also have a parking lot so it's easy to park/get in & out.  Oh, and they were playing good music.

Cons:  We ordered the "Gourmet Pizza", Mozzarella, Roasted Garlic, Tomato, & Fresh Basil.  My husband and I both thought it looked & tasted like a frozen pizza with some fresh basil added to disguise it as fresh.  I have to say it was pretty terrible.  The service was so-so.  

Maybe we were just there at a slow time... but it wasn't enough to make us want to go back.

I've only been here once, but I really liked this place! I went on a Saturday night for a birthday. The wine was reasonably priced (about the same as other places in North Park/downtown), and it has great ambience. The decor is cute and very lounge-y with plush leather couches and cozy seating areas for groups. I didn't eat, but a few other people in our party did and the food looked/smelled really good. I liked that it wasn't super crowded, the crowd was pretty mellow, and the servers were all very friendly.
