We've been attending the Music Together classes for almost 1 year now. My toddler enjoys the classes (as do I!) and it has been such a great experience to see her grow musically. There are class locations around town (Banker's Hill, University Heights, North Park, Santee, and Bonita) and also different times (mornings, evenings, weekdays, Saturdays). There is a flexible make-up policy as well.
Ms. Diana, and the other teachers we've had are wonderful. Very patient, good with the kids etc. Each session (10 weeks long or so), you receive a CD and songbook with that session's song collection. You can try a class for free to see what it's all about. The kids end up learning rhythm, singing in tune, and creativity. I can't say enough how much we enjoy our weekly class. There is a nice mix of caregivers that attend with the babies/toddlers, including moms, dads, grandparents, and nannies. Although there are other kiddie music  classes closer to us, we will definitely keep going to Songbirds' classes.
We are two classes in to our first session with Songbirds Music, which is part of the national Music Together program.  My 21 month old daughter and I love the classes, the music and we adore the teacher.  We attend class at Stage 7 in North Park and Miss Kristen is the teacher.  She is joyful and warm and truly loves her job.  And she has a beautiful voice and plays both guitar and flute.  I love that the music is so appealing to my entire family - we listen to it constantly and it is so fun to see my daughter begin to learn the words and movements that are demonstrated in class.  I also love the format of the class - loose structure with a perfect mix of singing, movement, and instrument-playing.  We will definitely be continuing  with Songbirds Music and enthusiastically recommend it to all parents and children.
